A Valve Cone Assembly In A High Pressure Line.

Abstract: The high-pressure line 11 is connected to a high-pressure pump 12 having an element chamber 13 via the valve cone assembly 10. The valve cone assembly 5 10 comprises a valve holder 14 having a passage 16 and a valve cone 18 having a rolling element 20 and a spring 22. The spring 22 is positioned below the rolling element 20. The valve cone assembly 10 further comprises an orifice 24 made on a top surface of the valve cone assembly 10. The valve cone assembly 10 comprises a supporting element 26 comprising 10 a first section 26(a) and a second section 26(b), wherein the first section 26(a) has an opening 28 corresponding to the orifice 24 of the valve cone assembly 10. The second section 26(b) accommodates the rolling element 20 and 1 portion of the spring 22. (Figure 1)

Specification

Claims:1. A valve cone assembly (10) in a high pressure line (11), said high pressure line
(11) is connected to a high pressure pump (12) having an element chamber (13)
via said valve cone assembly (10);
said valve cone assembly 5 (10) comprising:
- a valve holder (14) having a passage (16);
- a valve cone (18) having a rolling element (20) and a spring (22) positioned
below said rolling element (20);
- an orifice (24) made on a top surface of said valve cone assembly (10);
10 characterized in said valve cone assembly (10):
- a supporting element (26) comprising a first section 26(a) and a second
section 26(b), wherein said first section 26(a) has an opening(28)
corresponding to said orifice (24) of said valve cone assembly (10); and
- said second section 26(b) accommodates said rolling element (20) and one
15 portion of said spring (22).
2. The valve cone assembly (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said supporting
element (26) is made as a single component and is fitted inside said valve cone
(18) using at least one fitting techniques.

3. The valve cone assembly (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said second section
(26(b)) of said supporting element (26) adapted to guide said rolling element
(20) and one end of said spring (22) by an inner diameter.
4. The valve cone assembly (10) as claimed in claim 3, wherein said second section
(26(b)) comprises at least two elongated legs (29) that are extended to a center
portion (30) of said valve cone (18), such that, said one portion of said spring
(22) is positioned in between of said elongated legs (28).
5. The valve cone assembly (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein an other end of said
spring (22) is guided by an inner diameter of a bottom portion (32) of said valve
cone (18).
6. The valve cone assembly (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein 5 said opening (28)
of said supporting element (26) extends into said passage (16) of said valve cone
(18) for creating a return flow path for a fuel present in said high-pressure line
(11).
7. The valve cone assembly (10) as claimed in claim 6, wherein said rolling element
(20) is positioned inside said second section (26(b)) of said supporting element
(26) in such a way that, said rolling element (20) moves in downward direction
by a pressure of said fuel flowing through said orifice (24) and said opening (28)
of said valve cone (18) and said supporting element (26) respectively.

8. The valve cone assembly (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said rolling element
(20) is chosen from a group of rolling elements comprising a ball, a roller and the
like.
9. The valve cone assembly (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein a portion of said
rolling element (20) is in contact with a portion of said spring (22) in said second
portion (26(b)). , Description:The high-pressure line 11 is connected to a high-pressure pump 12 having an element
chamber 13 via the valve cone assembly 10. The valve cone assembly 5 10 comprises a
valve holder 14 having a passage 16 and a valve cone 18 having a rolling element 20 and
a spring 22. The spring 22 is positioned below the rolling element 20. The valve cone
assembly 10 further comprises an orifice 24 made on a top surface of the valve cone
assembly 10. The valve cone assembly 10 comprises a supporting element 26 comprising
10 a first section 26(a) and a second section 26(b), wherein the first section 26(a) has an
opening 28 corresponding to the orifice 24 of the valve cone assembly 10. The second
section 26(b) accommodates the rolling element 20 and 1 portion of the spring 22.
