Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a valve piece (102) for a fuel injector (100). The injector comprises a valve piston (101), a 5 high pressure seal ring (106), a fuel inlet (104) and at least a valve piece (102). The valve piece (102) is fitted on to the surface of a valve piston (101) and on top of a high pressure seal ring (106). The valve piece (102) is a conduit having a circular cross-section which is in fluid communication with an inlet hole 10 (105) on the valve piston (101) at one and the fuel inlet (104) at the other end. The valve piece (102) is characterized by a micro filter (1021). The micro filter (1021) is fitted inside the conduit. The micro filter (1021) is a plate placed inside the cross section of the conduit. The plate is fitted inside the tubular cross-section by means of an interference fit with inner 15 diameter of the valve piece (102). Figure 2.
Claims:1. A valve piece (102) for a fuel injector (100), the valve piece (102)
fitted on to the surface of a valve piston (101) of the injector and
inside of a high pressure seal ring (106), the valve piece (102) is a
conduit having a circular cross-section 5 which is in fluid
communication with an inlet hole (105) on the valve piston (101) at
one and a fuel inlet (104) of the injector at the other end,
characterized in that valve piece (102):
a micro filter (1021) fitted inside the conduit , the micro filter
10 (1021) is a plate placed inside the cross section of the
conduit, the plate having laser holes (1022).
2. The valve piece (102) for a fuel injector as claimed in claim 1,
where the laser holes (1022) are either tangentially or radially
15 drilled on the surface of the plate.
3. The valve piece (102) for a fuel injector as claimed in claim 1,
where the plate is fitted inside the tubular cross-section by means
of an interference fit with outer diameter of the valve piece (102).

4. A fuel injector comprising a valve piston (101), a high pressure seal
ring (106), a fuel inlet (104) and at least a valve piece (102), the
valve piece (102) fitted on to the surface of the valve piston (101)
and inside of the high pressure seal ring (106), the valve piece (102)
is conduit having cross-section which is in fluid communication
with an inlet hole (105) on the valve piston (101) at one end and the
fuel inlet (104) of the injector at the other end, characterized in that
valve piece (102):
a micro filter (1021) fitted inside the conduit 5 , the micro filter
(1021) is a plate placed inside the cross section of the
conduit, the plate having laser holes (1022).
5. The fuel injector as claimed in claim 4, where the laser holes (1022)
10 are either tangentially or radially drilled on the surface of the plate.
6. The fuel injector as claimed in claim 4, where the plate is fitted
inside the tubular cross-section by means of an interference fit with
