Abstract: An affixing tape according to the present invention comprises: a base material that is in contact with a carrier sheet and has a higher tensile elongation at break than the carrier sheet and a release sheet; and an adhesive layer that is in contact with the release sheet and is affixed to the surface of a living body after the release sheet has been peeled from the adhesive layer. The surface area of the carrier sheet is greater than the surface area of the affixing tape, and the affixing tape is positioned within the carrier sheet when viewed from a perspective facing a plane on which the carrier sheet is spread. When viewed from the perspective facing the plane on which the carrier sheet is spread, the carrier sheet has a cut extending towards the affixing tape from, of an outer edge of the carrier sheet, a portion not overlapping the affixing tape and having a length not reaching the outer edge of the affixing tape.
