FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention relates to air cooler. The present invention more
particularly relates to air cooler with washable sliding filter.
.BACKGROUND AND PRIOR
Witlloul suly pluvisiun lo prolecl air cooler from dust and insects, dust could
easily enter the cooler ,-- -- through coolh~gp ads and panels thus-resulting in-choking- _
of the flute of honeycomb. Insects entering the cooler through cooling pads form
clusters near the cooling pads and inside the flute of honeycomb thus creating an
unhygienic environment. This also reduces the flute size of honeycomb from its
standard size thus resulting in reduced air delivery. Cleaning of cooling pads and
panels clogged with dust over time is a difficult task. It is not possible to clean it
on a regular basis. Further, accumulation of dust on the mechanical parts such as
fan motor, swing motor and pump reduces the efficiency and life of these parts.
Due to dust accumulation, these parts require to be serviced again and again
! leading to high maintenance cost. Thus, this has a major impact on the life and
performance of cooler. Further, mosquitoes come in contact with the tank water
causing pollution of the same. This polluted water becomes a breeding ground for '
. .
. mosquitoes' thus resulting in life threatening diseases like Dengue and Malaria.
Efforts have been made to protect the air cooler from dust etc. Now, in this regard
reference may be made to the following-
