Abstract: The present invention discloses an air purification system, more particularly an air purification system that generates ions that are discharged in the air. The said purification system comprises a pair of ion generator and a charged filter. The positive ion generator generates a positive ion that charges the air. These positive charge ionized air is generated in the said air purification system to enhance the electrostatic precipitation of particles and microbial cells that are suspended in the air. The air is then passed through the charged filter that attracts the charged particles while dispersing clean and purified air.

OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION It is the objectives of the present invention to provide a new and improved air purification system that provides clean air in the environment where the air purifier is affixed It is another objective of the present invention to provide air purification system which draws polluted air from near room, passing it through the purifier and discharging it as clean air. It is another objective of the present invention, to provide an anti-microbial air purification system that ionises air particles and destroys microorganism for complete removal of pathogens in the purified air Further objective of the invention, is to develop an air purification system using ionisation technology that is novel and highly effective. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Air is the most important part of the environment and it plays an inevitable role in the health of the humans. One of the major concerns of today is the poor quality of air in our surrounding and there a many reason attributed to this including industrialization and pollution. Almost all countries across the world have introduced policies for monitoring air quality and notifying public on pollution levels and its associated health hazards. The quality of indoor air is largely dependent on the outdoor air. Since the recent National Air quality Index (AQI) has raised alarms on the degrading air quality, it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain indoor quality of air.
Pollutants are present in the air in even the tidiest home. Although 80% percent of the pollution is dead skin the remaining 20% can be any of a number of harmful things including Secondhand smoke,
3
Radon, lead formaldehyde, asbestos. Secondhand smoke remains in the air far longer than it smells, and as long as it is present they are dangerous due to the effects of inhalation. Radon, which is radioactive dust, exists in the air because of the materials and processes used to install the foundation. Other substances such as lead, formaldehyde, and asbestos are introduced during construction and remodeling. One of the major constituents of the air pollutants include microorganisms and spores that cause allergic and asthma related problems. These bacteria can build up in bathrooms, garages and then contaminate the rest of the indoor. An ounce of dust can contain over 40,000 dust mites, and an average 1,500 square foot home is likely to have approximately 40 pounds of dust or more. Majority of the pathogenic bacteria are gram negative bacteria. These bacteria have cell wall composition different from the other bacteria and has a negative charge associated with them. One major way of cleansing air that people retort to today is the use of air fresheners. These products only temporarily mimic a clean scented indoor, but also introduce contaminants that build up and pollute the home. Also, there are purifiers that only filter the microbial contaminants in the air but do not kill them for a safer purification technology. Hence there exists a need in the art to provide an effective air purification system that not only removes dust and chemical pollutants, but also removes and kills harmful microbial pollutants to provide clean and purified air. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention discloses an air purification system, more particularly an air purification system that generates ions that are discharged in the air. The said purification system comprises both positive ion and negative ion generator coupled with one or more filters selected from HEPA, carbon and electrostatic precipitators and photo oxidiser with ultraviolet rays of UV–C and UV B. The positive ions in accordance to the present invention are generated from the air inlet port to charge the particles which are neutral and negatively charged including microorganisms. Hence all such charged particles and later attracted to a negatively charged media to enhance the process of electrostatic precipitation. This said process destroy cells of microorganism that are harmful to human health.
The air is then passed through the charged filter that attracts the charged particles while dispersing

clean and purified air. Additionally the purified air prior to being expelled from the purifier is charged with negative ions that provide health benefits to humans. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Figure 1: Illustrates flow of air in the said air purification system as disclosed in the present invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The embodiments herein and the various features and advantages, details thereof are explained more fully with reference to the non-limiting embodiments that are illustrated in the accompanying drawings and detailed in the following description. Descriptions of well-known components and processing techniques are omitted so as to not unnecessarily obscure the embodiments herein. The examples used herein are intended merely to facilitate an understanding of ways in which the embodiments herein may be practiced and to further enable those of skill in the art to practice the embodiments herein. Accordingly, the examples should not be construed as limiting the scope of the embodiments herein. The present invention discloses an air purification system with ionised air molecules for purification of air. The present invention comprises a pair of ion generator, a charged filter to disperse filtered air, multiple mechanical filters including carbon filters, an electric motor and a fan comprising blades In one embodiment the pair of ion generator is located one near the intake air and other at the point of discharge of air. The ion generator generates charged ions from a circuit designed with high voltage direct current. In one embodiment, a positive ion generator is situated near the intake of air. The said positive ion generator generates positive ions that charges the air that is sucked from the environment into the air purifier In one embodiment, a negative ion generator is situated at the point of dispersion of air from the air purifier to the environment. The said negative ion generator generates negative ions into the air. In one embodiment, the said pair of positive and negative ion generator are located between the charged filter elements of the air purifier.
The said charged filter comprises a plurality of filter packs. The filter packs optionally comprises stacked filters selected from activated Carbon Filter, high efficiency particulate filter (HEPA),
5
Ultraviolet light (UV) filter and/or ionic filter. In one embodiment, the activated carbon filters have small absorbent pores that chemically react with pollutants in the air. When air passes through this filter, the pollutants bond with the carbon and is trapped. These filters are effective at clearing smoke, odors, chemicals and gases present in the air In one embodiment, the high efficiency particulate filter (HEPA) removes airborne particulate contaminants that are as small as 0.3 microns in size. These filters remove pollen, mold, pet dander, dust mite and bacteria. In one embodiment the ultraviolet light filter comprises a UV light that has electromagnetic radiation to destroy bacteria and other pathogens by breaking the molecular bonds in its DNA In one another embodiment, the ionic filter comprises a foam pre-filter and an electrically charged filter element. The filter is also of the type that is naturally charged or alternatively the filter element could be of the conductive charge type made from materials such as carbonized foam, or metal screen to which a charge is applied during operation and which would provide a filter with greater particle attraction and which is washable. In one embodiment, the air sucked from the environment, comprising pollutants are positively charged, such that pathogenic microbial cell wall comprising negative charges attracts the said positive ions. The said positive ions then enter the cell wall to break the cell wall structure leading to microbial death. The said air with positive ions is then allowed to pass through a series of filter, comprising activated carbon filter to remove chemical contaminants, UV filter to kill any other positively charged bacteria, HEPA filter to remove pollen and allergens and a negatively charged ionic filter that attracts all the positive charges contaminants. The filtered air is then allowed to pass through the negative ion generator that is situated at the point of dispersion of the filtered air. The negative ion aggregates with the purified air is expelled out in to the environment. In one embodiment, the purified air is free of contaminants and additionally, the negative ion charged air provides health benefits, particularly in treatment of respiratory ailments. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a method for filtration of air comprising
a) air from environment is sucked into the air purifier
b) positive ions are generated from the positive ion generator
6
c) positive ions aggregate on the pollutants more particularly on the cell wall of the microbes and kill the microbes
