Abstract: A distillation device comprising: a) a heating means for heating a liquid; b) a condensing means for condensing a vapor; c) multiple reservoirs; d) a vacuum means for generating a vacuum; e) an enclosure incorporating all or part of said vacuum, heating and condensing means; and f) said vacuum means for generating said vacuum comprising: 1) a heater to heat liquid for generating steam vapor; 2) a reservoir for containing said portion of said liquid used for generating said steam; 3) an opening in said enclosure sealably connected to an outlet for communication from said enclosure to outside said enclosure; 4) a valve for interrupting said communication between said enclosure and said outside of said enclosure.
