We Claim,
1. A process for preparing of ethyl isopropyl amine of formula-1 comprises;
(a) aminating acetone with monoalkylamine in presence of solvent and reducing agent
(b) isolating N-ethyl isopropylamine
2. The solvent as claimed in claim 1 is selecting from the group consisting of methanol, ethanol,propanol,butanol, toluene, methyl t-butyl ether, dichloromethane, ethylene dichloride, methyl isobutyl ketone, 2-methyl THF, water or mixture thereof.
3. The reducing agent as claimed in claim 1 is selected from the group consisting of sodium borohydride, Raney Nickle, Pd/C, lithium aluminium hydride.
4. A process for preparing of N-(dihaloethyl) propyl-2-amine of formula-1A comprises;
(a) aminating acetone with dihaloalkylamine in presence of solvent and reducing agent
(b) isolating N-(dihaloethyl) propyl-2-amine
5. The solvent as claimed in claim 4 is selecting from the group consisting of methanol, ethanol,propanol,butanol, toluene, methyl t-butyl ether, dichloromethane, ethylene dichloride, methyl isobutyl ketone, 2-methyl THF, water or mixture thereof.
6. The reducing agent as claimed in claim 4 is selected from the group consisting of sodium borohydride, Raney Nickle, Pd/C, lithium aluminium hydride.
7. The dihaloalkylamine as claimed in claim 4 is 2,2-difluoroethylamine.
