“An Improved Process To Recover Volatiles From Tea Extract”
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the recovery of aroma present in the tea using a Flash Evaporator after the decantation of tea slurry to remove the volatiles present in the tea extract under partial vacuum and thereafter passing the same in a special aroma recovery unit to concentrate the tea aroma recovered. The flash evaporator unit consists of the main dearation vessel, a tubular heater for reboiling and is connected to the stripper unit by a duct.
