Abstract: This invention relates to Anti Flu composition in homoeopathy and the process. of preparing the same. Flu is caused by a virus and it manifests itself by symptoms of fever, cold, sneezing, body ache and headache. Homoeopathic doctors generally prescribe Aconitum Napellus, Arsenicum Album, Bryonia Alba, Eupatorium Perfoliatum, Gelsemium Sempervirens, Rhus Todicodendron either individually or in combination with one or two homoeopathic medicines depending upon the symptoms of the patients

BACKGROUND
Flu is caused by a virus and it manifests itself by symptoms of fever, cold, sneezing, body ache and headache. Homoeopathic doctors generally prescribe Aconitum Napellus, Arsenicum Album, Bryonia. Alba, Eupatorium Perfoliatum, Gelsemium Sempervirens, Rhus Todicodcndron either individually or in combination with one or two homoeopathic medicines depending upon the symptoms of the patients. For instance, if the patient is having a fever and cold with frequent thirst for small quantities, the doctor will prescribe Arsenicum Album. If the patient is having symptoms for large quantities of thirst, the doctor will prescribe Bryonia Alba and in case the patient is mentally restless with severe thirst in large quantities, Rhus Toxicodendrotl in combination with Bryonia Alba may be prescribed. Every time homoeopathic doctor lias to examine the symptoms of the flu patients and prescribe the aforesaid medicines accordingly.
The object of this invention is to simplify the prescription by doctors for a large group of patients and cover wider spectrum of symptoms in a single homoeopathic preparation.
To achieve the said objective, this invention provides Anli Flu composition for a wider spectrum of symptoms which comprises :
Aconitum Napellus Arsenicum Album Bryonia.Alba
Eupatorium Perfoliatum Gelscmiuni Sempervirens Rhus Toxicodendron in equal proportions.
The tablets of 1UO my. or 250 mg. are prepared iroin the-abovc-nicnlioiied composition and are prescribed by the doctors depending upon the age and acutencss of the disease.
Except Arscnicum Album the remaining ingredients used in the said composition are made from extracts from herbal plants.
This invention further includes a process of preparing Anti Flu composition comprising of mixing in equal proportion the following ingredients at ambient temperature:

Aconitum Napellus Arsenicum Album Bryonia Alba Eupatorium I'ci foliatum Gel semi u in Sempervirens Rhus Toxicodendron
The potencies of the aforesaid ingredients should'not be less than 30 and not more than 200.
Each of the ingredients is made at first in alcohol or in water to the power of either 30 or 200 i.e. all ingredients'AconiUnn Napellus, Arsenicum Album, Hiyonia Alba, Eupatorium
Perfoliatum, Gelsemium Sempervirens, Rhus Todicddendron are potentised to give 30 or 200 individually.
All ingredients to the desired potency have to be made separately and thereafter the said ingredients are mixed uniformly with lactose to form the composition. The tablets of 100 mg or 250 mg are prepared from the said composition in a known manner.
The alcohol used is 90 percent ethyl alcohol and the water used is distilled water. The invention will now be described with the following examples:'
Example 1
Anti Flu composition is prepared by mixing in equal proportion at ambient temperature.the following ingredients:
Aconhum Napellus 200
Arscnicum Album 200
Bryonia Alba 200
Eupatorium I'eriblialuni • 200
Gelsemium Sempervirens 200
Rhus Toxicodendron 200
Each of the aforesaid ingredients are potentised either in 90 percent ethyl alcohol or distilled water to get 200 potency. All ingredients potenlised have to be made separately and thercailer mixed uniformly to get the above composition. Tablets of 100 mg. or 250 mg. are prepared in any known manner. These tablets are known as Anti Flu 200 (AF-
200) and are prescribed for patients depending upon the age and the • acuteness of the disease. Even the patient having flu without doctor's prescription can take it himself.
Example 2
Anti I'lu composition is prepared by mixing in equal proportion llic following ingredients:
Aconitum Napellus 30
Arscnicum Album 30
Bryonia Alba 30
Eupatorium Perfoiiatum 30
Gelsemium Sempervirens 30
Rhus Toxicodenclron 30
Each of the aforesaid ingredients are potentised either in 90 percent ethyl alcohol or distilled water to get 30 potency. All ingredients potency have to be made separately and • thereafter mixed uniformly with lactose to get the above composition. Tablets of 100 mg. or 250 mg. are prepared in any known manner. These tablets are known as Anti Flu 30 (AF-30) and are prescribed for patients depending upon the age and the acuteness of the disease. Even patients suffering from flu or having ilu like symptoms can take the tablets themselves without consulting the doctor.
Uses:
Tablets prepared from the above composition are useful for acute catarrhal conditions with or without fever, inlluenzal type of body pains, sneezing, coryza and cough.

We claim:
1. Anti Flu composition for a wider spectrum of symptoms comprising the following ingredients:
Aconitum Napellus Arscnicum Album Bryonia Alba Eupatorium Perfoliatum Gel semi um Sempervirons Rhus Toxicodendron in equal proportions.
2. Anti lrlu composition as claimed in claim 1 wherein the potencies of the said
ingredients should not be less than 30 and not more than 200.
3. Anti Flu composition as claimed in claim 1 wherein the potency of the said
ingredient is preferably 200 for achieving belter results.
4. Anti Flu composition as claimed in claim 1 wherein the tablets of 100 nig or 250
mg are prepared from the said composition in a known manner and are prescribed
depending upon the age and acutencss of the disease.
5. Ami I'lu composition as claimed in claim 1 wherein the ingredients except
Arsenicum Album used in the said composition are made from extracts of herbal plants.
6. Anti Flu composition for a wider spectrum of symptoms substantially as herein described in the foregoing examples.
