Abstract: ABSTRACT ANTI-PERSPIRANT COMPOSITION AND METHODS THEREOF The present disclosure describes an aqueous transparent sprayable anti-perspirant composition comprising: a) at least three solubilizers; b) at least one emollient; c) at least one active; d) at least one fragrance; and e) water, wherein the composition has a viscosity in the range of 0.1 – 100 cps. The present disclosure also provides a convenient method for preparing the aqueous anti-perspirant composition.

Specification

I/We Claim:
1. An aqueous transparent sprayable anti-perspirant composition comprising:
a) at least three solubilizers;
b) at least one emollient;
c) at least one active;
d) at least one fragrance; and
e) water,
wherein the composition has a viscosity in the range of 0.1 - 100 cps.
2. An aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least three solubilizers to the at least one fragrance has a w/w ratio in the range of 1:1.75 to 1:3.5.
3. An aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least three solubilizers comprise a first solubilizer, second solubilizer, and a third solubilizer, wherein the first solubilizer is PEG400, the second solubilizer is PPG-5 Ceteth-20, and the third solubilizer is PPG-26-Buteth-26 (and) PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil (and) water.
4. An aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein the first solubilizer to the second solubilizer to the third solubilizer have a w/w/w ratio in the range of 1:2:3 to 1:4:9.
5. An aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 3, wherein the third solubilizer has a weight percentage in the range of 40 to 80% with respect to the at least three solubilizer.
6. An aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one active is selected from the group consisting of aluminium chlorohydrate, aluminium chloride, aluminium zirconium chlorohydrate, aluminium sesquichlorohydrate, and combinations thereof.
7. An aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least three solubilizers to the at least one active has a w/w ratio in the range of 1:0.42 to 1:35.
8. An aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one emollient is selected from the group consisting of PEG-12-dimethicone, propylene glycol, glycerin, isopropyl myristate (IPM), isopropyl palmitate (IPP),

cetyl alcohol, jojoba oil esters, coconut oil esters, avocado oil esters, and combinations thereof.
9. An aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least three solubilizers to the at least one emollient has a w/w ratio in the range of 1:0.17 to 1:20.
10. An aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 1, comprising:

a) at least three solubilizers having a weight percentage in the range of 1 – 12 % with respect to the composition;
b) at least one emollient having a weight percentage in the range of 2 – 20 % with respect to the composition;
c) at least one active having a weight percentage in the range of 5 – 40 % with respect to the composition;
d) at least one fragrance having a weight percentage in the range of 0.5 - 3% with respect to the composition; and
e) water having a weight percentage in the range of 50 – 85 % with respect to the composition.
11. An aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the
composition further comprises at least one photoprotective agent selected from the
group consisting of ethylhexyl methoxy cinnamate, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane,
ethylhexyl salicylate, benzophenone-4, oxybenzone, octylmethoxy cinnamate, and
combinations thereof, and having a weight percentage in the range of 0.1 to 1.0 %
with respect to the composition.
12. An aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the composition further comprises at least one additive selected from the group consisting of antifoaming agent, chelating agent, preservative, antioxidant, and combinations thereof.

A method for preparing an aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 1, the method comprising the steps of: a) obtaining at least three solubilizers; b) obtaining at least one emollient; c) obtaining at least one active; d) obtaining at least one fragrance; and e) contacting the at least three solubilizers, at least one emollient, at least one active, at least one fragrance with water to obtain the composition.
14. A method for preparing an aqueous anti-perspirant composition as claimed in claim 12, the method comprising the steps of:

a) contacting the at least one emollient, first solubilizer, second solubilizer and
antifoaming agent with water to obtain a premix-1;
b) contacting the at least one active with the premix-1 to obtain a first mixture;
c) contacting the third solubilizer, at least one fragrance, antioxidant with at least one photoprotective agent to obtain a premix-2;
d) contacting the premix-2 with first mixture to obtain second mixture; and
e) contacting the second mixture with the preservative to obtain the composition.
