Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to the field of carrier bags, and more particularly relates to the antimicrobial carrier bags for various applications that provide an antimicrobial/antibacterial unit that helps to get rid of probable microbial germination and further serious harmful infection that can be the cause of the same.

BACKGROUND FOR THE INVENTION:
[002] The following discussion of the background of the invention is intended to facilitate an understanding of the present invention. However, it should be appreciated that the discussion is not an acknowledgment or admission that any of the material referred to was published, known, or part of the common general knowledge in any jurisdiction as of the application’s priority date. The details provided herein the background if belongs to any publication is taken only as a reference for describing the problems, in general terminologies or principles or both of science and technology in the associated prior art.
[003] Carrier bags, whether it is being used for carrying luggage, Gym essentials, Food boxes/bags, grocery, etc. after being used again and again becomes soiled due to dirty clothes, food Leakage, sweat, humidity, etc. respectively. All of these create a very ambient environment for the germination of several microbes and bacteria such as Streptococcus, E. coli, etc. Most of them are included in the group of those microbes which germinated very easily. When they come in contact with our clothes, food, grocery, etc. subjective to the purpose for which the bag is being used, end up contaminating the same. These can be responsible for infections that could be major or minor depending upon the exposure level and immunity which varies, from person to person. These can mostly be skin or stomach infections like cellulitis, erysipelas, impetigo, folliculitis, furuncles, rashes, gastroenteritis, food poisoning, etc. Such bags can also be irritably smelly producing foul odor.
[004] The applicant has conducted a worldwide prior art patent search before filing the present patent application. Following are some of the relevant prior art patent documents.
[005] GB patent 2,527,063 A titled “Carrier bag” to ADDMASTER U K LTD discloses a carrier bag having an anti-microbial agent on its inner surface. This could be in the form of a lining or a coating and the bag could be woven and/or polymeric. Ideally, the anti-microbial agent is applied to at least 95% of the bag’s inner surface as well as to its external surface and handles. The agent could be silver ions entrained in a polymeric carrier. Ideally, the agent reduces the concentration of viable pathogens by at least 95% in 24 hours.
[006] US patent 2,022,047,050 A1 titled “personal antimicrobial carrier” to PAC X LLC discloses an exemplary personal carrier that includes a housing defining a space, and an antimicrobial metal incorporated into the housing. According to one exemplary embodiment, the housing can be any carrying type object and can include an anti-microbial material deposited or infused therein.
[007] Existing technologies only address the issue of foul odor absorption/removal/deodorization etc. skipping the major issue of microbial germination that can further lead to several harmful infections. In contrast with existing technologies, the present invention is a combination of nanoparticles-based formulation and activated carbon layer/sheet/sachets/patches, addressing both issues, majorly focusing on antimicrobial properties.
[008] To solve this problem, the inventors have developed a nanoparticle-impregnated activated carbon-based composition having antimicrobial properties which also acts as a foul odor absorbent. The present invention is available in the form of antimicrobial sheets/layers/barriers (fixed/removable)/ Sachets/ Patches or any customized design which can be attached to the inner layer of the bags. This can also be customized to create different compartments which can be used to segregate the objects.
[009] In light of the foregoing, there is a need for antimicrobial carrier bags for various applications that overcomes problems prevalent in the prior art.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION:
[010] Some of the objects of the present disclosure, which at least one embodiment herein satisfies, are as follows.
[011] The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art by providing antimicrobial carrier bags for various applications.
[012] An object of the present invention is to provide antimicrobial carrier bags for various applications that help users get rid of probable microbial germination and contamination.
[013] Another object of the present invention is to provide antimicrobial carrier bags for various applications that reduce serious harmful infections.
[014] Another object of the present invention is to provide antimicrobial carrier bags for various applications that aim to take care of the foul unbearable odor produced due to frequent usage of the respective article.
[015] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide antimicrobial carrier bags for various applications, wherein the bag is economical.
[016] Other objects and advantages of the present disclosure will be more apparent from the following description, which is not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
[017] The present invention provides antimicrobial carrier bags for various applications.
[018] One aspect of the present invention, it provides a method for making an antimicrobial carrier bag fabric. The method includes an initial step of heating 500ml DM water up to 90°C temp in a beaker.
[019] At the next step, 5 gm PVA is added and stirred at 500-600 rpm at 90 °C temp till it forms a clear solution.
[020] At the next step, 5 gm of NaOH is added and stirred for 10 minutes at 500-600 rpm at room temp.
[021] At the next step, the 10 gm of copper nitrate is added and stirred for 10 minutes at 500-600 rpm at room temp.
[022] At the next step, the 10 g Ascorbic Acid is added at 100°C temp along with stirring for 15 minutes at 500-600 rpm at room temp to get a yellow-colored cupric oxide nanoparticles solution.
[023] At the next step, the desired amount of activated carbon fabric is taken and immersed in the prepared solution for 30 min.
[024] At the next step, the solution is taken out and exhausted in the air drier oven for 2 hours at 85 °C.
