“Apparatus And Method For Protecting Ecu (Electronic Control Unit) Against Short Circuit”
Abstract: Accordingly, the present invention relates to a method and apparatus for short circuit protection in ECU. The apparatus having a cost effective circuit design for output driver circuit. The output driver circuit comprises of a control unit (100), a clamping diode (101) and a short circuit protection unit (102). The short circuit protection unit (102) has a cost-effective circuit design for protecting the load and other components of the ECU against a short circuit condition.
