Abstract: ABSTRACT BOLT CAP FOR FRONT SUSPENSION IN VEHICLE The present invention provides a bolt cap (10) for a front suspension system (100) of a vehicle, for sealing the upper end of the front suspension tube. The bolt cap (10) comprising a lower portion configured with a cavity (10c) fitting inside the front suspension tube; a top part (10a) configured with a mounting means (30) extending out of the front suspension tube for mounting the front suspension system (100) to the upper bracket of the vehicle; and an O ring (20); wherein the bolt cap (10) is a single integrated part. Field of the invention:
The present invention relates to a front suspension, more particularly it relates to a front suspension with a modified bolt cap.
Background of the invention:
Front suspensions of two wheeler vehicles serve the purpose of spring locking and air load retaining. Two wheeler front suspensions are top sealed by bolt cap which gives support to spring and also acts as oil retention member in the limb. Bolt cap in most of the cases also provides feasibility of mounting upper bracket on the vehicle. This is achieved through a bolt cap assembled with O-ring and an additional bolt for mounting upper bracket.
Accordingly, there exists a need to provide a modified bolt cap for the front suspension, which overcomes drawbacks of the prior arts.
Objects of the invention:
An object of the present invention is to provide a light weight bolt cap for front suspension.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a multifunctional, single part bolt cap for front suspension.
Summary of the invention
Accordingly, the present invention provides a modified top sealing bolt cap for front suspension. The present invention provides a single part, light weight bolt cap with a provision for mounting upper bracket on the vehicle. The front suspension comprises single part, light weight bolt cap, with O ring and a mounting provision of upper bracket.

Figure 1 shows across sectional view of front suspension (A) with top sealing bolt cap (1A), in accordance with prior art.
Figure 2 shows a cross sectional view of front suspension (100) with single part, modified top sealing bolt cap (10), in accordance with the present invention.
Detailed description of the embodiments:
The foregoing objects of the present invention are accomplished and the problems and shortcomings associated with the prior art, techniques and approaches are overcome by the present invention as described below in the preferred embodiments.
In one aspect, the present invention provides modified top sealing bolt cap for front suspension. The present invention provides a single part, light weight bolt cap with a provision for mounting upper bracket on the vehicle.
The present invention is illustrated with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein numbers indicated in the bracket represent the components of the invention throughout the description.
Figure 1 shows a cross sectional view of front suspension (A) with top sealing bolt cap (1A), in accordance with prior art. The front suspension (A) comprises a bolt cap (1A) with O ring (2A). A screw (3A) is provided for mounting upper bracket.
Figure 2 shows a cross sectional view of front suspension (100) of a vehicle comprises a bolt cap (10) for sealing the upper end of the front suspension tube and an O ring (20).The bolt cap (10) comprising: a lower part (10b) and a top part (10a). The lower part (10b) is configured with a cavity (10c) fitting inside the front suspension tube and a top part (10a) configured with a mounting means (30) extending out of the front suspension tube, for mounting the front suspension system (100) to the upper bracket of the vehicle.
The modified top sealing bolt cap (10) is an integrated single part and is of light weight.
Advantages of the invention:
• The modified front suspension top sealing bolt cap of the present invention is a single part multi functioning device.
• It is having reduced number of child parts.
• It can be easily manufactured.
• The bolt cap design with a cavity reduces the weight of bolt cap and in turn, reduces the cost of the bolt cap
• The overall weight of the front fork is also reduced by approximately 2%
• Reduced number of child part, simplifying manufacturing & assembly time
• Bolt cap thread projection will guide the front LH & RH suspension limb assembly & position the vehicle upper bracket during assembly.

1. A bolt cap (10) for a front suspension system (100) of a vehicle, for sealing the upper end of the front suspension tube, the bolt cap (10) comprising:
a lower portion configured with a cavity (10c) fitting inside the front suspension tube; a top part (10a) configured with a mounting means (30) extending out of the front suspension tube for mounting the front suspension system (100) to the upper bracket of the vehicle; and an O ring (20); wherein the bolt cap (10) is a single integrated part.
