Specification

] The presently disclosed embodiments are related, in general, to a band clip. More particularly, the presently disclosed embodiments are related to the band clips for securing wire harness of an automotive vehicle.
BACKGROUND
[0002] The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in-and-of-themselves may also be inventions.
[0003] Typically, band clips are used in vehicle wiring systems to secure wire bundles or harnesses at specific locations in the vehicles along the routes of the harnesses. A fastener attached to the band clip is often pushed into an aperture in a vehicle bulkhead or panel after the tie or band is wrapped around the harness. An example of a band clip is described in the Indian patent application IN8945/DELNP/2015 filed by KAJIWARA Yasuhiro. talks about a band clip minimally protruding from a sheet-shaped object. The band clip comprises a binding band and a clip. The binding band is provided with a head and a strap. The clip comprises a button a shaft and a penetration inhibitor. One end section of the shaft is joined to one main surface of the

button. The other end surface of the axis is joined to one main surface of the penetration inhibitor. The head is joined to the other main surface of the penetration inhibitor. When seen in the shaft extending direction the button is larger than the shaft and the protrusion inhibitor is larger than the button.
[0004] Further, Japanese patent application JP2013169040 discloses a wire harness that is provided with a pair of blades on both sides in the lateral direction and on the left and right in the longitudinal direction to a bridge connecting the protruding ends of a pair of strut portions protruding from the wire harness mounting portion provided with the fastening band. It is projected in a folded shape toward the base side of the mounting portion side, and two or more stages of locking claws are provided on the outer surface of each blade portion, and these locking claws sequentially project the locking claws on the upper stage side outward. In the band clip that locks any one of the upper and lower locking claws to the peripheral edge of the mounting hole of the vehicle body, the flexibility is provided from the protruding end of the lowermost locking claw. A band clip for a wire harness, characterized in that a thin-walled protrusion having a protrusion is projected, and the protruding end of the protrusion protrudes outward from the protruding end of an adjacent upper locking claw.
[0005] This specification recognizes that there is a necessity for an efficient and improved band clip that can hold a harness and inserting the harness in a mounting hole arrangement in a plurality of areas of an automotive vehicle.
[0006] Thus, in view of the above, there is a long-felt need in the automotive industry to address the aforementioned deficiencies and inadequacies.

[0007] Further limitations and disadvantages of traditional approaches will become apparent to one of skill in the art, through comparison of described systems with some aspects of the present disclosure, as set forth in the remainder of the present application and with reference to the drawings.

SUMMARY
[0008] A band clip for holding a harness and inserting the harness in a mounting hole arrangement in a plurality of areas of an automotive vehicle is provided substantially, as shown in and/or described in connection with at least one of the figures.
[0009] An aspect of the present disclosure relates to a band clip for holding a harness and inserting the harness in a mounting hole arrangement in a plurality of areas of an automotive vehicle. The band clip includes a body; a serration; a teeth section; and an upper flower section. The serration is drafted at a predefined angle of the body. The teeth section provides a higher breaking force. The upper flower section having a thickness to provide a less hole mounting insertion force.
[0010] In an aspect, the predefined angle is at least 75 degrees to provide a breaking force.
[0011] In an aspect, the plurality of areas comprising a plastic compartment and a metal body.
[0012] In an aspect, the body has a longitudinal axis, a length extending along the longitudinal axis between two ends, and a width between two opposite sides of the longitudinal axis.
[0013] In an aspect, the upper flower section is fixed at one end of the body that is L-shaped.
[0014] Accordingly, one advantage of the present invention is that it efficiently provides a band clip that holds any particular harness and henceforth inserted in a mounting hole arrangement in different areas of an automotive vehicle such as plastic compartment and metal body, etc.
