Coated Bus Bar And Associated Method
Abstract: The present invention refers to a method for applying electrical isolating coating on a conductive element of a bus bar destined to be installed in a motor vehicle wherein the coating step comprises : - dipping an anode and a cathode in a bath of electrolyte comprising Nickel sulfate, Nickel Chloride, Boric acid and Alumina powder, the anode being made of nickel, the cathode being made of the conductive element of the bus bar, and - an electroplating process comprising flowing a current between the anode and the cathode so that a composite coating comprising a mixture of Nickel and Alumina is plated on the conductive element.
