Combined Braking System
Abstract: A Combined braking system for a two wheeler provide a combined braking system with a simple compact structure with reduced subparts and applicable for heavy or light weight two wheeler. Combined braking system for a two wheeler comprising, a front hydraulic disc brake (1), a rear mechanical drum brake (2), a foot brake lever (4) connected to said mechanical drum brake (2) by a brake rod (3), a primary lever (101) comprising an operation section (101 a) and a fitting section (101 b), a secondary lever (200) having an upper section (201), a lower section (202) and a pushing section (203), a front master cylinder piston (113) which interacts with the pushing section (203) and a brake cable holder (111) integral with said front master cylinder assembly (110). During the application of hand force on said operation section (101a) of the primary lever front brake applies. as the pushing section (203) pushes the front master cylinder piston (113) which transfers the hydraulic pressure to the front wheel hydraulic disk brake (1) through a brake hose (6). During the application of force on the foot brake pedal (4) combined braking mode operates where force is transferred by the a brake rod (3) to said rear mechanical drum brake also force is transferred through a brake cable (5) which pulls the lower segment (202) of said secondary lever (200) which in turns pushes the front master cylinder piston (113).
