Common Ip Based Network Communication Between Virtual Machine And Host
Abstract: ABSTRACT COMMON IP BASED NETWORK COMMUNICATION BETWEEN VIRTUAL MACHINE AND HOST System and method are provided for a common IP based network communication between a Virtual Machine (110) and a Host (102). An example method includes determining, by the host (102), packet arrival at a virtual interface and checking destination IP address in the packet. The method further includes determining, by the host (102), a particular range of IP addresses, wherein if the destination IP address is within the particular range, the packet information is read and responded, and if the destination IP address is not within the particular range, the packet is forwarded to external network without any modification.
