Abstract: The objective of the invention is to provide a communication system wherein a user can flexibly select service providers. A communication system of the present invention comprises: core networks (40 and 41) managed by communication service providers; a management device (30) that manages connection information used for connecting to the core networks (40 and 41); and a base station (20) that connects to the core networks (40 and 41) and the management device (30). The base station (20) when having received from a communication terminal (10) a first connection request message that does not designate any communication service providers transmits information related to a plurality of communication service providers to the communication terminal (10) and transmits the connection information related to a communication service provider selected by the communication terminal (10) to the communication terminal (10).
