Claims
1. A method for co-deposition of nano-diamond particles in a composite coating consisting of Chromium and Molybdenum comprising: a) deposition of chromium and molybdenum by pulse mode electroplating technology, b) creating a network of cracks on the plated surface, c) simultaneous co-deposition of nano-sized spherical diamond particles on the plated surface with a crack network.
2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the size of the spherical diamond particles ranges from 40 to 150 nm.
3. Internal combustion engine parts coated by the method as claimed in claim 1.
Specification
We Claim:
1. A method for co-deposition of nano-diamond particles in a composite coating
consisting of Chromium and Molybdenum comprising:
a) deposition of chromium and molybdenum by pulse mode electroplating technology,
b) creating a network of cracks on the plated surface,
c) simultaneous co-deposition of nano-sized spherical diamond particles on the plated surface with a crack network.
2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the size of the spherical diamond particles ranges from 40 to 150 nm.
3. Internal combustion engine parts coated by the method as claimed in claim 1.
