Abstract: COMPOSITION FOR PROVIDING HEALTH BENEFITS The present disclosure discloses a composition comprising Nigella sativa extract; and Trigonella foenum-graecum extract, wherein the Nigella sativa extract to the Trigonella foenum-graecum extract has a weight ratio in a range of 0.90:1-0.10:1. The process for preparing the composition is also disclosed in the present disclosure. The composition provides exercise-like-benefits in a subject without actual exercise.
1. A composition comprising:
(a) Nigella sativa extract; and
(b) Trigonella foenum-graecum extract,
wherein the Nigella sativa extract to the Trigonella foenum-graecum extract has a weight ratio in a range of 0.90:1-0.10:1.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the Nigella sativa extract to the Trigonella foenum-graecum extract has a weight ratio in a range of 0.50:1-0.10:1.
3. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the Nigella sativa extract has a weight percentage in a range of 0.005%-0.001% with respect to the composition.
4. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the Trigonella foenum-graecum extract has a weight percentage in a range of 0.009%-0.005% with respect to the composition.
5. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the Nigella sativa extract comprises total fatty acids having a weight percentage range of 85%-90% with respect to the extract.
6. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the Trigonella foenum-graecum extract comprises steroidal saponin having a weight percentage in a range of 2.5%-5% with respect to the extract.
7. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein the composition further comprises at least one excipient.
8. A process for preparing the composition as claimed in claim 1, said process comprising:
(a) obtaining Nigella sativa extract;
(b) obtaining Trigonella foenum-graecum extract; and
(c) contacting the Nigella sativa extract, and the Trigonella foenum-
graecum extract, to obtain the composition.
9. The process for preparing the composition as claimed in claim 8, wherein contacting the Nigella sativa extract, and the Trigonella foenum-graecum extract is carried out at a temperature in a range of 25-15Ö,
10. The process for preparing the composition as claimed in any one of the claims 8 or 9, wherein contacting the Nigella sativa extract, and the Trigonella foenum-graecum extract is done in presence of at least one solvent.

The process as claimed in claim 9, wherein the at least one solvent is selected from a group consisting of water, butyl butyrate, ethyl hexanoate, ethyl lactate, ethyl acetate, triethanolamine, N, N-dimethylformamide, formamide, acetonitrile, dimethylsulfoxide, tetrahydrofuran, acetone, 1-propanol, ethanol, methanol, toluene, decahydronaphthalene, isohexane, cyclohexane, n-hexane, and combinations thereof.
