Abstract: A cover system (100) adapted to house a battery (10) of a vehicle, is disclosed. The cover system (100) comprises a case (110) for housing the battery (10) of the vehicle. The case (110) comprises a first side (122) and a second side (124) opposite to the first side (122). At least one of the first side (122) and the second side (124) has a locking flap (140, 142, 144) extending outwardly from the case (110). The cover system (100) 10 further comprises a strap (130) having a first end (132) coupled to the locking flap (142) of the first side (122) or the first side (122) of the case (110), and a second end (134) coupled to the locking flap (144) of the second side (124) or the second side (124) of the case (110).
