Ai Based Visual Inspection Method For Quality Control In Manufacturing Systems
Abstract: ABSTRACT DECISION ENGINE FOR MULTI-SOURCE AI DECISIONS REALTIME FOR QUALITY CONTROL IN MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS. A method for performing quantitative data based decision to derive a decision regarding quality inspection of product under test. In the method multiple decisions taken by a specialist sub-system are merged to make a binary call of no-go or OK of product under inspection based on multiple images keeping them industrial scale performant system for realtime decision making . In the method decision is made based on images captured which are then run through an AI engine with logic to pre-process and post-process and arrive at a decision to accept, reject or perform other function on a part under test within a predefined time. The AI analysis are convert to binary decisions of Go or no-go. Further, in the method post processing steps are performed on the image in case of unsure results to derive binary decisions. During post-processing for unsure results reclassification id performed based on the “learn with forgetting” and “learn without forgetting” methods.
