Abstract: Provided is a display body that comprises an uneven structure having an uneven surface that serves as an incidence surface on which light is incident. The uneven surface includes a part in which a convex surface and a concave surface are alternately repeated one by one in an arrangement direction. Each convex surface extends in a band like shape in an extension direction that is perpendicular to the arrangement direction and has a shape that tapers toward a tip thereof in a thickness direction of the uneven structure. Each concave surface extends in a band like shape in the extension direction and has a shape that tapers toward a bottom thereof in the thickness direction of the uneven structure. The convex surfaces and concave surfaces suppress reflection of light which is incident on the uneven surface in a direction in which the uneven surface is viewed from the front and are arrayed at a period such that light incident on the uneven surface is emitted from the uneven surface as diffracted light in a direction in which the uneven surface is viewed obliquely. The uneven structure has a property of absorbing light incident on the uneven structure.
