Abstract: An easily openable packaging material according to the present disclosure comprises a layered structure that includes a paper base material, an anchor coat layer, a metal or metal oxide vapor deposition layer, and a sealant layer in this order, wherein the weight of the paper base layer is 50 mass% or more with respect to the entirety of the packaging material, the thickness of the sealant layer is 2-40 µm, the sealant layer comprises a first polyolefin resin, and the tensile breaking strength is 40-70 N/15 mm.
