Electric Steering Lock Device
Abstract: A present disclosure relates to a locking device (100) for a vehicle, comprising a motor assembly (21) comprising an output shaft (2a) and an output gear (3) mounted at the output shaft. The output gear is rotatable about X-axis through the rotation of the output shaft. A gear assembly (22) is rotatably connected to the motor assembly and rotatable about Z-axis through the rotation of the output gear. A slider (7) slidably is connected to the gear assembly and slidable about Y-axis based on the rotational motion of the gear assembly. A slide plate (13) comprises a slot (13a) to secure a protrusion of the slider. The slide plate and a lock bar (14) are moved in a linear direction about X-axis based on the sliding movement of the protrusion of the slider into the slot of the slide plate to lock or unlock the steering of the vehicle.
