Specification

Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[1] The invention relates to system and method for real time employee accountability and
management based on facial recognition system
BACKGROUND
[2] An organisation or a company faces various issues during management of payroll such as
calculation, paperwork and potential errors. If these errors are not addressed, they can
lead to significant consequences for the organization, including but not limited to
financial losses, legal compliance issues, employee dissatisfaction and burden on
administration.
[3] Moreover, companies or organizations often face challenges in validating attendance
discrepancies such as proxy attendance. The prevalent reliance on manual entry
exacerbates the situation, introducing a higher likelihood of errors and a lack of real-time
monitoring of the actual employees present in the organisation or in the company at a
given point of time. Consequently, this undermines the accuracy and security of the
attendance tracking process.
[4] In addition, a company or organization grapples with the complexity of manually
calculating various elements of payroll, such as overtime, deductions, and tax
withholdings, which introduces a significant margin for error. This manual process not
only consumes valuable time but also undermines accuracy and efficiency.
[5] Furthermore, companies and organization faces challenges in generating comprehensive
reports to gain insights into payroll expenses. Traditional methods require cumbersome
manual efforts, making it difficult to obtain timely and accurate information.
[6] In order to avoid such consequences and associated revenue losses, automated
management payroll management is quintessential and thus exists an ever-rising demand
for the same in companies and organisation across various industries.
[7] However, the existing practices used by companies and organisations to monitor and
perform payroll-related tasks are not systemised and automated, thus it leaves a lot of
scope for errors which can lead to losses. Therefore, there exists a need for an automated
payroll management system

system.
[11]
In an embodiment, a method for real time employee accountability and management
system is described. The method includes analysing the data obtained from multiple
internet protocol camera devices positioned across different location to capture real time
image data of employee. The internet protocol camera, receives data and sends image data
of the employee present in the premises via LAN network to the data processing system.
The image data is continuously synced with the data storage system stored in local server,
wherein an analysis report is generated by a data processing system which enables the
system to identify and correlate employee presence, validate attendance records, and
detect any anomalies or discrepancies, performance of the employee, conduct of the
employee, automate the payroll, avoid discrepancies in the payroll management of
employee.

[17]
The present invention describes a system and method to perform real-time monitoring
of presence, conduct quality data in a warehouse management system wherein the
warehouse management system includes multiple internet protocol camera devices
positioned across different location in the premises to capture real time image data of
employee. The image data so captured is continuously synced with employ statistic
database available on the data processing system which can be a normal computer system
wherein the data processing system has a multifunction facial recognition control module
which comprises of face recognition extraction component, face information comparison
verification component and verification success information upload component. These
components are responsible for extracting, comparing, verifying face information, and
uploading verification success information in data processing display system which in
turn is used to generate employ assessment report card.
[18]
In one aspect, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for real time
management system for attendance of the employee comprising of IP cameras capturing
the image data of an employee as soon as he enters the office premise. The image data is
then transferred to the data processing system through LAN. The multifunction facial
recognition control module components responsible for extracting, comparing, verifying
face information, and uploading verification success information in data processing
display system wherein if the employee data matches with data contained in the employee
statistic data, the attendance management system present in the data processing system is
updated and marks the attendance for that employee. This aspect of the invention would
help in avoiding the proxy attendance and provides for accurate and reliable employee
attendance. The organisation utilize this system to clock in upon arrival and clock out
upon departure of an employee, thereby documenting their working hours with precision
and reliability.
