Description:Field of the invention
[001] Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a sanitizer dispenser and particularly to a fingertip sanitizer dispenser.
Description of Related Art
[002] A hand sanitizer is an agent that destroys or inhibits an activity of microorganisms that cause infectious diseases. The hand sanitizer can be a liquid, gel, or foam generally used to kill many viruses/bacteria/microorganisms present on hands. In most settings, handwashing with soap and water is generally preferred. Shifting consumer preference towards convenient hygiene products is expected to drive a market. In a present scenario of a pandemic outbreak, the best way to prevent oneself from being infected is by ensuring complete hygiene. The hand sanitizer is rubbed all over the hands, ensuring to cover the entire hands including fingers, palms, and back of the hands.
[003] In public places such as companies, institutes, schools, shopping malls, railway stations, airports, and alike, hand sanitization is usually done at the entrance of premises. In the current time of COVID-19 Pandemic, it became essential to keep a track of temperature along with the hand sanitization of every visitor on the premises. Temperature scanning along with hand sanitization is usually done manually by a dedicated person at the entrance. For places such as shopping malls, railway stations, and airports, manual scanning of the temperature along with hand sanitization ends up wasting the time of the visitors. Many a time, the visitors have to form a queue for getting their hands sanitized and end up not following a social distancing protocol. The visitors in the queue become more prone to infectious diseases if the social distancing protocol is not being followed properly. Furthermore, the dedicated person who is assigned to take the temperature along with the hand sanitization of the visitors is more vulnerable to infectious diseases.
[004] Moreover, with contractual public properties, such as buttons in a lift, a biometric fingerprint attendance system, it becomes riskier for people as multiple people are touching the same surface. Assigning a specific person to clean such contractual public properties will be a time taking process and in return, it could also lead to a degradation of delicate electronics.
[005] There is thus a need for an improved sanitizer dispenser that can overcome the shortcomings faced by the conventional solutions in a more efficient manner.
