Hybrid Cathode Material For Lithium Ion Battery And Process For Preparing Thereof
Abstract: HYBRID CATHODE MATERIAL FOR LITHIUM ION BATTERY AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING THEREOF The present invention discloses a hybrid cathode material for a lithium ion battery comprising a lithium manganese iron phosphate; and at least one nickel-rich layered oxide selected from the group consisting of at least one lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide according to formula II: LiNiXMnyCo1-x-yO2(II), wherein in formula (II), x is 0.6-0.8, y is 0.1-0.2, 1-x-y is 0.1-0.2, or a niobium coated lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide according to formula III: Nbz@LiNiXMny Co1-x-yO2 (III), wherein in formula (III), x is 0.6-0.9, y is 0.08-0.11, 1-x-y is 0.08-0.11, z is 0.1-0.6. The present invention also discloses a process for preparing the hybrid cathode material. Further, a lithium-ion secondary battery is also disclosed herein.
