Abstract: The present invention reduces image reacquisition due to eye-position fluctuation. According to the present invention, a controller (500) controls image reading by iris image capturing apparatuses (401-404) for capturing the images of an iris of a subject. The controller (500) sets an interest area, which is an image reading target, in the control for image reading by the iris image capturing apparatuses. The controller (500) stores past information and, when image processing is performed on the same subject, determines whether the eye area of the subject can be covered by means of the interest area that has been used before. When it is determined that the eye area cannot be covered, the controller (500) calibrates image reading by the iris image capturing apparatuses.
