Abstract: Method for manufacturing flexible suitcases of the type comprising a framework over which in stretched a flexible clothing in linen, fabric, leather or the like, The framework is manufactured from a roctilinoor structural element (3) provided with at least one recessed rib (2), which is cut to the desired length then folded back on itself so that both ends (3, 4) of said structural element (1) are brought to be nearly joined, whilst leaving between them a small gap (5); whereafter the framework is covered with clothing by taking advantage of ike elasticity of the framework which may be deformed; then by stretching the clothing once it is placed by moving the ends (3 and 4) apart; and finally by attaching both ends (3, 4) one to another by any appropriate means.

1. Method for munufacturing flexible suitcases of the type including a framework over which is stretched a flexibk clodung in linen, fabric, leather or the like, charactorized by the fact that the framework is built front a roctilinoar structural element (3) provided with at least one recessed groove (2) wluch is cut to the desired length then folded over itself such as to bring both ends (3, 4) of said structural clement (1) togcther so as to nearly join, whilst leaving between dtem a small gap (S); the framework is thereafter covered with a clothing by taking advantage of the elasticity of the framework which may be dcfonned; then by stretching the clodiing once it is positioned by moving ends (3 and 4) apart; and finally by attaching both ends (3, 4) one to another by any appropriate moans.
2. Suitcase manufactured according to mediod of claim 1, characterized by the fact that said structural element (1) U simply bent so diat the suitcase assumes a circulai' or oval shape.
3. Suitcase manufactured according to method of claim 1, characteri/ed by the fast that the structural element (1) is folded in at least two positions so diat the suitcase assumes a triangular, square, rectangular or polygonal shape.
4. Suitcase acccording to claim 3, charactcri/od by the fact that the structural eiwnent (1) is folded in four positions «o as to conqvise a bottcmi, a top and two sides.
5. Suitcase according to claim 4, diaracterized by the fact diat the stjuctural element (1) includes a rocossod groove (2) in which slide two rods (11) connected at their top part to a handle (10) whicli extends along the widdi (L) of the suitcase; wherein the portion of the rib (2) located at the bottom of the suitcase supports a shaft (13) at the ends of which are placed two wheels (12).
6. Suitcase acconUng to cbim 4, characterized by the fact that the structural clement (1) includes at least two rccossod, parallel ribs (2).
7. Suitcase according to claim 6, characterized by the fact diat a rod (II) slides in each of bodi ribs, in one of the portions located on the side of the suitcase, wherein both rods (11) are connected at their top end by a liandle (10) wlucli extends along the depth (P) of the suitcase.
8. Suitcase according to claim 7, wherein both portions of both ribs (2) which arc located at the bottom of the suitcase nipport, at only one of their ends, means (14) bearing wheebi (12).
9. Suitcaito according to claim 7, wiiervin both pcntinns of both ribu (2) whick are located at the bottom of the suitcacr support, at bofii of tfaair ends, ttieans (14) bearing wheela (! 2).
