Background of Invention
Conventional Boat capsizes due to various reasons. The main reason is the overloading of passengers and mistake and mischief of passengers. It causes, the loss of lives is the main concern in which using the boats for travel, entertainment and fishing.
Many accidents took place in the past while the boats were used for ferrying passengers from one place to another or for entertainment in beach, resorts etc. Kerala is one of the major tourist destinations because of many rivers and back waters. Owing to lack of technological advancement in the present model of the water ways, vehicles, ports, harbour and hinterland systems, which cause loss to the public exchequer. These rivers and Lake are known for boat accidents by which the Kerala Water Tourism is in infant stage. The following major boat accidents also provoked me to think a better safe boating service.
The following are major boat accidents in India since early 2009.
July 2, 2010: An overcrowded boat capsized in the state of Bihar. At least four people
were killed and about 40 others were missing.
June 14, 2010: A boat hired to perform a religious ceremony sank in the Ganges River in northern India, killing at least 57 people.
Jan. 30, 2010: An overloaded boat ferrying passengers capsized in the Godavari River in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh. At least 10 people drowned and 40 others were missing.
Nov. 4,2009: A boat carrying 35 people, mostly students returning home, sank in a river in the southern state of Kerala. At least eight students were killed. Sept. 30, 2009: A double-decker boat carrying 74 tourists capsized on a lake in the Kerala state after the tourists rushed to one side to look at elephants in a wild life sanctuary, killing at least 30 people.
Sept. 28, 2009: A boat carrying villagers sank in a river in the state of Bihar. At least 11 people were killed and 14 others were missing.
July 11, 2009: Two boats ferrying women labourers capsized in the evening in the Wainganga River in the western state of Maharashtra after a massive bolt of lightning caused panic. At least 16 were killed and more than 10 were missing.
April 5, 2009: An overloaded boat carrySrg at least 60 people to cross the Yamuna River in northern India capsized, killing about 30 people. And the list is continuing
These accidents gave me the potential courage leads to this invention. Living in a water bounded place, I deeply sorrowed in the death claim due to boat accident and lost my sleep and pledged myself to involve in a long lasting solution. The invention attempts to address this concern by making the boat non-sinking one thus ensuring the safety several of human lives.
Probable loss of life due to boat accidents which are mentioned (namely, capsizing, falls overboard, sinking/flooding) can be avoided and several lives can be saved if this inventive steps and technology are utilized on boats. If this technology is integrated in the existing boats that makes water transportation very safe. Further present invention can be useful in amusement parks or children's parks or for sending provisions to people around lakes to see the most scenic beauty of the globe without any fear.

Fia: 3 ARIAL VIEW OF LIFE SAVING PIPES.
The inner part of the whole system is shown in detail. As mentioned in the Figure 1 and . Figure 2 the use of GI pipe set (Part 2) and cross bar (Part 3) can be easily visible in this Figure 3. Safety rope is rounded in the boat as shown in (Part 4). "Both end air tightened PVC pipes" or saving pipes are arranged in parallel with the gap of 3 cm width is shown as (Part 1). This gap avoids the rubbing of pipes together. The calculation of the volume of air to float the passengers and boat when cabsizing is as follows. The approximate or average weight of a man is 80 Kilogram. A person having 80 Kilo Grams of weight requires 5 litres of volume of tightened air to float on the water. One and half feet of the said four inch PVC pipe (both end closed air tightened) is able to do the same function. Thus in accordance with the capacity of the passengers of a boat and the total weight of the boat, the size of the PVC pipes or life saving pipes is determined. With the help of above mentioned ratio and the technology adopted in this device, the sinking of any type of boats can be avoided . The system can be integrated in to any models or size of the boat by integrating the system in accordance to its shape and size.
Types of Boats where in this device can be used:
(1) Conventional boat
(2) Tourist Boat
(3) Fishing Boat
(4) House Boats
(5) sports boat
(6) Travelling Boat
Functioning of the Device
The whole system is incorporated to avoid the sinking of the boat and passengers in the event of capsize. The both end air tightened PVC Life saving pipesnamely life saving pipes avoid the sinking of any boat and its passengers as described in the detailed description above. When a boat overtones the water will flow inside the boat and automatically the water pumps to the vacum area wherein the Life saving pipes are systematically arranged. The life saving pipes are air tighten on both ends and made of Poly Vinyl Chloride, PVC. The size of the said PVC pipe is determined by calculating the total weight of the boat and the passenger load of the boat. In order to find out the total capacity that may required to bear by the device attached to a boat in the event of its capsize is as follows. The requirement of air to float a single passenger is approximated as 80 Kilogram. A person having 80 Kg requires 5 litres of tightened air to float on the water. One and half feet of the said four inch PVC pipe (Fig.2 Item No.l) is capable of shouldering the said 80 kg weight. This ratio of volume of air avoids the sinking and helps to float the boat over water in any case. Thus in accordance with the total weight of the boat including its load, the size of the life saving pipes is to be decided. With the help of above mentioned ratio, we can avoid the sinking of any types of boats. It can be integrated to any models accordingly.
When the boat overturns, the life saving pipes will bear the total weight of the passengers and the boat. The system should not allow the boat to sink. GI pipe arranged in specific order as mentioned in the above description as shown in (figure 3 Item No.2) will keep the lifesaving pipes in a systematic manner. The wooden plank will helps to carry the travellers, without damaging the life saving pipes and the total system. Safety rope is rounded the boat, where all passengers can hold the ropes and protect themselves from drowning. During the time of capsizing of boat if any ill health person, old aged person, or physically weak person, children could not catch the rope attached the boat and stand in the water such person can lay on the bottom top of the boat and his/her life can be escaped. The application of this life saving device could extend to roofed boat as well as non roofed boat.
It is also very useful for fisher men who moved towards the inner sea or deep sea, occurs any eventuality and due to this reason the boat began to sink, the boat of a fisher men can be restored to the prior position and they can pour the water inside the boat. And again they use the boat for travel. The life of fishermen can be saved by this new technology in the boat. Finally by using this technology on large scale greater safety on sea, rivers, lakes etc. are assured. And this device differentiates from the all life saving system presently attached to the boat.
