COMPLETE SPECIFICATION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it
is to be performed.

TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The subject matter described herein, in general, relates to a holder,
and in particular, relates to a holder for holding insect repellent strips.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Insect repellent strip is a paper-based substrate impregnated with
insect repelling formulations for repelling insects. In an example, the paper-based substrate may be coated with active formulations for repelling mosquitoes.
[0003] When such insect repellent strips are burnt, the insect repelling
formulations coated on the substrate may get vaporized. The vaporized insect repellent formulations include active ingredients that perform a desired function, for example, disrupting normal activity of the insects, say, mosquitoes. The vaporized insect repellent formulations are dispensed into surrounding air in all directions and repel the insects.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
[0004] The detailed description is described with reference to the
accompanying figures. In the figures, the left-most digit(s) of a reference number identifies the figure in which the reference number first appears. The same numbers are used throughout the drawings to reference like features and components.
[0005] Fig. 1 illustrates a front view of a sheet blank of a holder, in
accordance with an implementation of the present subject matter.
[0006] Fig. 2 illustrates a perspective front view of the holder, in
accordance with an implementation of the present subject matter.
[0007] Fig. 3 illustrates a perspective front view of the holder holding an
insect repellent strip, in accordance with an implementation of the present subject matter.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0008] The present subject matter described herein is directed to a holder
for holding an insect repellent strip. In an example, the holder may be used for holding strips coated with active formulation for repelling insects, for example, mosquitoes.
[0009] The insect repellent strip is a substrate coated with insect repelling
formulations. When such insect repellant strips are burnt, the insect repelling formulations coated on the insect repellent strips quickly vaporize and is dispensed in all directions.
[0010] Generally, the insect repellent strips, while they are burning, have
to be placed at suitable positions from where the vaporized insect repelling formulation can be easily dispensed in all the directions. Such suitable positions for placing the insect repellent strips can be, for example, under a table or over floor of the house.
[0011] However, there is no means or apparatus available which can hold
the burning insect repellent strips at the suitable position. Also, since the insect repellent strips cannot be rigidly held at the suitable position during the burning, the burning insect repellent strip may get swayed by wind action. Therefore, at any instant, the burning insect repellent strip may come in contact with other goods, e.g., furniture or fabric, and may damage them.
[0012] Further, in order to have an efficient insect repelling action, the
insect repelling strips are needed to be in a defined cone-like configuration while burning such that complete burning of the insect repellent strip can take place. However, because such insect repelling strips are simply placed over a surface, the insect repelling action may not happen at the defined cone-like configuration of the insect repelling strip. Therefore, the insect repelling action of the insect repellent strips may not be that efficient as desired.

[0013] Various embodiments and implementations described herein, in
accordance with the present subject matter, include a holder for holding an insect repellent strip. In an implementation, the holder includes a sheet blank having a plurality of lateral or width-wise creases. The plurality of lateral creases provided on the sheet blank allows the sheet blank to get folded to form a rectangular tubelike structure having a plurality of walls.
[0014] In alternative implementations of said holder, the sheet blank may
have different patterns of creases, for example, combination of lateral and longitudinal creases. Such patterns of creases allow the sheet blank to get folded to form other structures, such as square-tube like structure, cubical structure, and cuboidal structure.
[0015] Further, in said holder as per an implementation of the present
subject matter, the holder includes a strip holding member for rigidly holding the insect repellent strips. The strip holding member is provided on one of the plurality of walls of the rectangular-tube like structure of the holder. The strip holding member includes a groove and a metal rivet disposed on the groove. In an example, the metal rivet has circular shape. Although the metal rivet has been described with a circular shape in the present implementation, the metal rivet may have various other shapes, for example, circular, oval, octagonal, hexagonal, triangular, square, and rectangular.
[0016] According to the said implementation of the present subject matter,
the insect repellent strip can be rigidly held with in the strip holding member of the holder in a desired cone-like configuration. Thus, the holder provides a simple and economical means for rigidly holding the insect repellent strip. The holder also maintains safety of the users and other goods by not letting the burning insect repellent strip to be swept to different positions by external factors, such as wind. Further, since the insect repellent strip is held in the desired cone-like structure, the efficiency of insect repelling action is improved as the complete burning of the insect repellent strip happens with the usage of the holder described herein.

[0017] Furthermore, the provision of the metal rivet in the strip holding
member protects the holder from damages that may be caused by the burning insect repellent strip.
[0018] These and other examples are further described herein with
reference to FIGS. 1-3. It should be noted that the description and figures relate to example implementations, and should not be construed as a limitation to the present subject matter. It is thus understood that various arrangements may be devised that, although not explicitly described or shown herein, embody the principles of the present subject matter. Moreover, all statements herein reciting principles, aspects, and embodiments of the present subject matter, as well as specific examples thereof, are intended to encompass equivalents thereof.

Further, the sheet blank 102 has a width of 25 mm. It is to be understood that the dimensions of the sheet blank 102 described herein relates to the exemplary implementations and should not be construed as a limitation of the present subject matter. In other implementations, the sheet blank 102 may have different dimensions.
[0020] The sheet blank 102 includes a plurality of lateral creases 104, 106,
108, 110. As depicted in Fig. 1, the plurality of lateral creases 104, 106, 108, 110 divides the sheet blank 102 into a plurality of panels 112, 114, 116, 118, 120.
[0021] According to the said implementation of the holder 100, the sheet
blank 102 may be folded about the plurality of lateral creases 104, 106, 108, 110 to form a rectangular-tube like structure of the holder 100. When the sheet blank 102 is folded to form the rectangular-tube structure of the holder 100, the plurality of panels 112, 114, 116, 118, 120 forms walls of the rectangular-tube structure of the holder 100. In an example, first panel 112 and last panel 120 of the sheet blank

102 may be glued to each other to fix or form the rectangular-tube like structure of the holder 100.
[0022] It is to be understood that the arrangement of the plurality of lateral
creases 104, 106, 108, 110 described herein relates to the exemplary implementations and should not be construed as a limitation of the present subject matter. In other exemplary implementations, the sheet blank 102 may be provided with different pattern of creases, i.e., combination of lateral and longitudinal creases so that the sheet blank 102 can be folded to form structures, such as square-tube like structure, cubical structure, and cuboidal structure.
[0023] Further, in said sheet blank 102 of the holder 100 according to an
implementation of present subject matter, a strip holding member 122 is provided for holding the insect repellent strips. The strip holding member 122 is provided on one of the plurality of panels 112, 114, 116, 118, 120 of the sheet blank 102. In an example, the strip holding member 122 is provided on a second panel 114 of the sheet blank 102 so that when the sheet blank 102 is folded to form the rectangular-tube like structure, the strip holding member 122 appears on the top of the holder 100.
[0024] Further, in an example, said strip holding member 122 includes a
groove and a metal rivet disposed on the groove. The metal rivet is formed from MS 1 category steel. In an example, the metal rivet may have different shapes, say, circular, oval, triangular, square, and rectangular.
[0025] Fig. 2 illustrates a perspective front view of the holder 100, in
accordance with an implementation of the present subject matter. The rectangular-tube like structure of the holder 100 includes a plurality of walls 202, 204, 206, 208, 210 which corresponds to the plurality of panels 112, 114, 116, 118, 120 formed on the sheet blank 102. In an example, each of the plurality of walls 202, 204, 206, 208, 210 is perpendicular to its adjacent wall.
