Integrated Motor Mounting Housing

Abstract: The present subject matter relates to a window regulator assembly having an integrated motor mounting bracket. The motor mounting bracket consists of a base plate 302, three spokes 304 and a cup shaped housing 306. The cup shaped housing 306 has a snap fastener 308. The snap fastener 308 prevents detachment of a rotatable drum pulley of a motor from the cup shaped housing 306, until a minimum amount of external force is applied. The drum is free to rotate inside the cup shaped housing 306. The base plate 302, three spokes 304 and the cup shaped housing 306 forms an integral part of the motor mounting bracket.
