Abstract: ABSTRACT INTEGRATED SEALING FLANGE FOR BATTERY PACK HOUSING The disclosed subject matter relates to a housing for a battery pack, particularly for electric vehicles. The housing comprises a first part and a second part forming an enclosure for the battery pack. A sealing flange (100) seals the enclosure at the interface of the first and second parts. The 5 sealing flange (100) includes a molded body (102) with multiple cavities (104), each housing an insert (106). The insert (106) is designed to receive a fastener (114) to secure the sealing flange (100) to the enclosure. A separator plate (112), positioned above the inserts (106) in the molded body (102), aligns with the first end (108) of the corresponding insert (106). The 10 separator plate (112) separates an interface portion of the first end (108) of each insert (106) and the molded body (102) of the sealing flange (100), ensuring a secure and tight seal. << To be published with Figure 2 >>
