Iris Authentication Device And Iris Authentication Method
Abstract: This iris authentication device is provided with: a camera installed at a position lower than the height of the line of sight of a person to be authenticated; a light which is installed either at the same height as the position of the camera or at a position lower than the camera and which is for irradiating the to-be-authenticated person with light; and an authentication unit which performs authentication of the to-be-authenticated person by comparing, with a pre-registered iris image, an iris shown in an image of the to-be-authenticated person captured by the camera from a lower position in front of said person.
