Abstract: Disclosed herein is a junction box 100 configurable from series to parallel arrangement and vice versa. The junction box 100, inter alia, comprises a guide (128) provided, on a base (106), below a first busbar (116) and an arc-shaped guide (130) below a second busbar (118). Further, a first retractable lever (132) attached to the first busbar (116) passing through the guide (128) and a second retractable lever (134) attached to the second busbar (118) passing through the arc-shaped guide (130), Further, movement of the first busbar (116) and the second busbar (118) allows the junction box to be configured from a parallel connection of the plurality of batteries to a series connection and vice versa.
