Melanin Synthesis Inhibitor
Abstract: A melanin synthesis inhibiting agent or skin lightening agent comprising pyranocoumarin derivatives as the melanin synthesis inhibitory active and cosmetic and dermopharmaceutical compositions comprising the same. More specifically, the present invention provides simple and cost effective skin care benefiting agents comprising pyranocoumarin derivative as an active ingredient selected from seselin of Formula 1 which can be used singly or in combination with cosmetically/ dermopharmaceutically acceptable vehicle/ carriers.
