Method And System For Determining Maturity Of An Organization

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for determining digital maturity of an organization for digital enablement. In one embodiment, the method and system determines a weightage value of one or more digital parameters and further determines a final digital maturity index based on the weightage value and one or more digital indices associated with the one or more digital parameters. The method further determines a digital satisfaction index to determine the satisfaction level of the users in determining the digital maturity of the organization. Thus the method and system determines digital maturity of the organization so as to enable digital programs, to determine the focus area for digital maturity, to provide transparency of digital information to managers, to prioritize and implement functions significant for the organization and to identify differentiators for the organization in the context of digital footprint. Specification

CLIAMS:We Claim:

1. A method of determining digital maturity of an organization, the method comprising:
receiving, through a user interface module of a system, from one or more users, a first data associated with one or more digital parameters related to digital infrastructure of the organization;
associating, by a digital ranking module of the system, a weightage value to the one or more digital parameters based on the received data;
determining, by a rules engine of the system, one or more digital indices for the one or more digital parameters based on a second data provided by the one or more users in response to one or more queries associated with the one or more digital parameters; and
determining, by the rules engine, a final digital maturity index based on the associated weightage value and the one or more determined digital indices of the one or more digital parameters.

2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the determining the final digital maturity index comprises the steps of:
determining one or more digital maturity indices of the one or more digital parameters based on the weightage value of the one or more digital parameters and one or more capability factors associated with the one or more determined digital indices;
calculating a total digital maturity index as sum of the one or more determined digital maturity indices; and
determining the final digital maturity index based on the calculated total digital maturity index, a predetermined maximum capability factor and a total weightage value of the one or more digital parameters.

3. The method as claimed in claim 2, wherein the total weightage value is the sum of the weightage value associated with the one or more digital parameters.

4. The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprising:
receiving user login information from the one or more users;
authenticating the one or more users based on the received user login information; and
classifying the one or more users into one or more categories based on the authentication.

5. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more digital parameters include digital engagement, digital experience, digital commerce, digital process and digital integration associated with digital infrastructure of the organization.

6. The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprising:
receiving data from the one or more users in response to queries related to satisfaction level of the one or more users;
determining a digital satisfaction index based on the received satisfaction level data; and
modifying the one or more queries associated with the one or more digital parameters based on the determined digital satisfaction index.

7. A system for determining digital maturity of an organization, the system comprising:
a processor; and
a memory communicatively coupled to the processor, wherein the memory stores processor-executable instructions, which, on execution, cause the processor to:
receive, from one or more users, a first data associated with one or more digital parameters related to digital infrastructure of the organization;
associate a weightage value to the one or more digital parameters based on the received data;
determine one or more digital indices for the one or more digital parameters based on a second data provided by the one or more users in response to one or more queries associated with the one or more digital parameters; and
determine a final digital maturity index based on the associated weightage value and the one or more determined digital indices of the one or more digital parameters.

8. The system as claimed in claim 7, wherein the instructions, on execution, further cause the processor to determine the final digital maturity index by performing the steps of:
determining one or more digital maturity indices of the one or more digital parameters based on the weightage value of the one or more digital parameters and one or more capability factors associated with the one or more determined digital indices;
calculating a total digital maturity index as sum of the one or more determined digital maturity indices; and
determining the final digital maturity index based on the calculated total digital maturity index, a predetermined maximum capability factor and a total weightage value of the one or more digital parameters.

9. The system as claimed in claim 8, wherein the processor is configured to determine the total weightage value as the sum of the weightage value associated with the one or more digital parameters.

10. The system as claimed in claim 7, wherein the instructions, on execution, further cause the processor to:
receive user login information from the one or more users;
authenticate the one or more users based on the received user login information; and
classify the one or more users into one or more categories based on the authentication.

11. The system as claimed in claim 7, wherein the one or more digital parameters include digital engagement, digital experience, digital commerce, digital process and digital integration associated with digital infrastructure of the organization.

12. The system as claimed in claim 7, wherein the instructions, on execution, further cause the processor to:
receive data from the one or more users in response to queries related to satisfaction level of the one or more users;
determine a digital satisfaction index based on the received satisfaction level data; and
modify the one or more queries associated with the one or more digital parameters based on the determined digital satisfaction index.

13. A non-transitory computer readable medium including operations stored thereon that when processed by at least one processor cause a system to perform the acts of:
receiving, from one or more users, a first data associated with one or more digital parameters related to digital infrastructure of the organization;
associating a weightage value to the one or more digital parameters based on the received data;
determining one or more digital indices for the one or more digital parameters based on a second data provided by the one or more users in response to one or more queries associated with the one or more digital parameters; and
determining a final digital maturity index based on the associated weightage value and the one or more determined digital indices of the one or more digital parameters.
