Method And System For Operating A Lock System Of Vehicle

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method (350) of operating a lock system (210) of a vehicle. A method (400) of operating at least one lock system (210) of a vehicle (1), the method (400) comprising receiving (452) a duration information (328) of a predetermined time interval, by an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) (202) of a vehicle (1), from a communication device (204). The ECU (202) determines if the communication device (204) is within a pre- determined distance from the vehicle (1). The ECU (202) unlocks the at least one lock system (210) at the elapsing of the predetermined time interval if the communication device (204) is within the pre-determined distance from the vehicle (1), wherein the duration information (328) of the predetermined time interval is received as a user input signal (327) through an input unit (206) associated with the communication device (204).
