We Claim

1. A method for providing one or more custom recommendations for a user of a portable device on a digital platform, the method comprising:

- receiving, by an input unit [101], one or more first parameters associated with the portable device, wherein the one or more first parameters comprises at least one of an IMEI number, a user login input, a geo location and an IP address;

- identifying, by a processing unit [102], at least one user credential associated with the portable device based on the received one or more first parameters and a user information database;

- determining, by the processing unit [102], a status of the portable device based on the one or more first parameters and the at least one user credential;

- generating, by the recommendation unit [103], one or more custom recommendations based on the determined status of the portable device; and

- displaying, by the display unit [104], the one or more custom recommendations over a user interface of the portable device.

2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the one or more first parameters are received at the input unit [101] upon the portable device connecting to the processing unit [102].

3. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein identifying the at least one user credential associated with the portable device further comprises comparing the received one or more first parameters with the one or more user credentials stored in the user information database.

4. The method as claimed in claim 3, wherein in an event the at least one user credential is different from the one or more first parameters, the status of the portable electronic device is determined as a new user.
5. The method as claimed in claim 4, wherein in an event the status of the portable electronic device is determined as a new user, the one or more custom recommendations are generated for the portable device based on the one or more first parameters.

6. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein one or more custom recommendations comprise recommendation for one or more accessories compatible with the portable device, one or more accessories frequently purchased with the portable device, one or more services offered for the portable device.

7. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the custom recommendations are displayed over the user interface of the portable communication device via one or more of a push notification, a broadcast message, an email and a text message.

8. A system for providing one or more custom recommendations for a user of a portable device on digital platform, the system comprising:

- an input unit [101] configured to receive one or more first parameters associated with the portable device, wherein the one or more first parameters comprises at least one of an IMEI number, a user login input, a geo location and an IP address.

- a processing unit [102] connected to the input unit [101], said processing unit [102] configured to:

o identify at least one user credential associated with the portable device based on the received one or more first parameters and a user information database, and o determine a status of the portable device based on the one or more first parameters and the at least one user credential;

- a recommendation unit [103] connected at least to the input unit [101] and the processing unit [102], said recommendation unit [103]
configured to generate one or more custom recommendations based on the determined status of the portable device;

- a display unit [104] connected at least to the recommendation unit [103], said display unit [104] configured to display the one or more custom recommendations over a user interface of the portable device.

9. The system as claimed in claim 8, wherein the input unit [101] is configured to receive the one or more first parameters upon the portable device connecting to the processing unit [102].

The system as claimed in claim 8, wherein the processing unit [102] is further configured to compare the received one or more first parameters with one or more user credentials stored in the user information database to identify the at least one user credential associated with the portable device.

11. The system as claimed in claim 10, wherein in an event the at least one user credential is different from the one or more first parameters, the processing unit [102] is further configured to determine the status of the portable electronic device as a new user.

12. The system as claimed in claim 11, wherein in an event the status of the portable electronic device is determined as a new user, the recommendation unit [103] is configured to generate the one or more custom recommendations for the portable device based on the one or more first parameters.

13. The system as claimed in claim 8, wherein one or more custom recommendations comprise recommendation for one or more accessories compatible with the portable device, one or more accessories frequently purchased with the portable device, one or more services offered for the portable device.
14. The system as claimed in claim 8, wherein the display unit [104] is further configured to display the custom recommendations over the user interface of the portable communication device via one or more of a push notification, a broadcast message, an email and a text message.
