Abstract: A method and system is provided for tracking and planning resource procurement for a business agreement. The present application provides an integrated method for tracking a business agreement and planning resource procurement for said business agreement based on plausibility of acquiring said business agreement, comprises driving a plurality of instances pertaining to said business agreement against a potential customer of said business agreement through a validation acquired from a plurality of stakeholders of said business agreement; enabling the stakeholders of said business agreement to provide information pertaining to the plurality of instances of said business agreement; ensuring information availability in real time with the stakeholders of said business agreement by a plurality of communication means; and triggering resource procurement request for said business agreement based on plurality of instances of said business agreement to the respective stakeholders of said business agreement.
Claims:1. An integrated method for tracking a business agreement and planning resource procurement for said business agreement based on plausibility of acquiring said business agreement; said method comprising processor implemented steps of:
a. driving a plurality of instances pertaining to said business agreement against a potential customer of said business agreement through a validation acquired from a plurality of stakeholders of said business agreement using a validation acquisition module (302);
b. enabling the stakeholders of said business agreement to provide information pertaining to the plurality of instances of said business agreement using a customer relationship management module (304);
c. ensuring information availability in real time with the stakeholders of said business agreement by a plurality of communication means using an information communication module (306); and
d. triggering resource procurement request for said business agreement based on plurality of instances of said business agreement to the respective stakeholders of said business agreement using a resource procurement triggering module (308) accessible through a business logic layer (204) adapted for hosting business logic for tracking the business agreement and planning resource procurement for said business agreement.
2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plausibility of acquiring said business agreement is determined based on a scoring logic built, comprising a consolidated score threshold derived out of a plurality of quantitative parameters and a plurality of qualitative parameters.
3. The method as claimed in claim 2, wherein the consolidated score threshold derived out of the plurality of quantitative parameters and the plurality of qualitative parameters is predetermined based on domain, geography and client pertaining to said business agreement.

The method as claimed in claim 2, wherein the plurality of quantitative parameters are selected from a group comprising of customer connect, domain presence, geographical presence, pricing intelligence and competitiveness, core team including project execution team, solution design, infrastructure, seating, and risk.
5. The method as claimed in claim 2, wherein the plurality of qualitative parameters are selected from a group comprising of market intelligence and competitor information.
6. The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprises of ensuring business preparedness for said business agreement based on the plausibility of acquiring said business agreement.
7. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of instances pertaining to said business agreement comprises of project provided by said business agreement, account and offering details pertaining to said business agreement
8. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the resource for said business agreement is selected from a group comprising of infrastructure, and human resource.
9. The method as claimed in claim 8, wherein the infrastructure resource for said business agreement comprises TBA, BCP, DRP drill, testing, procured hardware including personal computers, laptops procured, provided and functional, servers, switches, corresponding commissioning and testing, checks, setup and readiness with respect to said servers, switches, bandwidth, and licenses.
10. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of stakeholders of said business agreement is selected from a group comprising of pre-sales, project execution team, resource management group, technology, financial, commercial, and quality functions pertaining to said business agreement.

The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein the pre-sales stakeholders for said business agreement comprises information pertaining to project details of said business agreement, including description of the project, TCV, Estimated value and FTEs, plausibility of acquiring said business agreement, customer type, methodology, practice type, demographics and owner, estimated FTEs, revenues, market intelligence, competition status, due diligence and pricing type.

The method as claimed in claim 10 wherein the project execution team for said business agreement comprises information pertaining to execution timelines, customer type, practice type, methodology, due diligence, travel Preparedness for both customer and project execution team linked with the project.
13. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein the resource management group for said business agreement comprises information pertaining to work order number location, duration of due diligence, duration of offsite training and the number of FTEs currently on board, further the resource management group checks the talent available, movable talent, skill sets comprising aspirational expectations and ratings for the project.
14. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein the quality function for said business agreement performs quality checks at tollgates of said business agreement.
15. The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprises of entering project details of the potential customer or an existing customer of said business agreement using a project creation module (210).
16. The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprises of tracking project available with the potential customer or the existing customer of said business agreement and moving between a plurality of stages of said business agreement.
17. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the triggering resource procurement request for said business agreement further comprises of:
a. sharing information pertaining to the said business agreement for start transitioning of resources required for said business agreement using a resource transitioning module (402);
b. enabling project execution team to raise human resource requirement for new or the existing business agreement using a human resource procurement module (404); and
c. sharing information pertaining to human resource requirement for said business agreement including role, target number, grade, location, and skill set required, for human resource requirement postings, conducting due diligence of human resources and fulfilling human resource requirement for said business agreement internally or externally based on an automatic resource mapping based on a plurality of predefined parameters using a human resource requirement posting module (406).

The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprises of enabling the plurality of stakeholders of said business agreement to experience user interface, providing information pertaining to the plurality of instances of said business agreement by the stakeholders of said business agreement, tracking of said business agreement and planning resource procurement for said business agreement according to the plurality of stages of said business agreement through a presentation layer (202).

The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprises of storing cumulative information pertaining to the plurality of instances of said business agreement provided by the stakeholders of said business agreement, tracking of said business agreement and planning resource procurement for said business agreement according to the plurality of stages of said business agreement in a central repository (208) accessible through a data access layer (206), wherein the data access layer (206) is adapted for hosting database components pertaining to said business agreement communicatively coupled with the central repository (208).
20. The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprises of enabling the plurality of stakeholders of said business agreement to analyze the effect of said business agreement by visualizing a plurality of periodic reports pertaining to said business agreement using a reporting module (212).
21. The method as claimed in claim 20, wherein the plurality of periodic reports are corresponding to and generated at the plurality of stages of said business agreement.
22. The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprises of configuring role based access and mapping for the plurality of stakeholders of said business agreement are enabled to access.
23. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of communication means are selected from a group comprising of electronic mail, and short messaging service accessible through a user interface by utilizing a mobile communication device.

The method as claimed in claim 24, wherein the plurality of stakeholders of said business agreement are enabled to login based on the plurality of communication means, retrieval of information pertaining to said business agreement, updating information pertaining to said business agreement, receiving real time notification and alerts pertaining to said business agreement, participate in approval process pertaining to said business agreement, and generating the plurality of periodic reports pertaining to said business agreement through the user interface by utilizing the mobile communication device.
25. The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprises of storing historical information pertaining to said business agreement using a historical data repository (214).
26. The method as claimed in claim 1, further comprises of analyzing information pertaining to competitors in context of said business agreement, measuring and plotting quadrant of current market scenario for said business agreement using an analysis module (216).
27. An integrated system (200) for tracking a business agreement and planning resource procurement for said business agreement based on plausibility of acquiring said business agreement; said system (200) comprising:
a. a processor;
b. a data bus coupled to said processor; and
c. a computer-usable medium embodying computer code, said computer-usable medium being coupled to said data bus, said computer program code comprising instructions executable by said processor and configured for operating:
a presentation layer (202) adapted for enabling a plurality of stakeholders of said business agreement to experience user interface, providing information pertaining to the plurality of instances of said business agreement by the stakeholders of said business agreement, tracking of said business agreement and planning resource procurement for said business agreement according to the plurality of stages of said business agreement;
a business logic layer (204) adapted for hosting business logic for tracking the business agreement and planning resource procurement for said business agreement; and
a data access layer (206) adapted for storing cumulative information pertaining to the plurality of instances of said business agreement provided by the stakeholders of said business agreement, tracking of said business agreement and planning resource procurement for said business agreement according to the plurality of stages of said business agreement in a central repository (208), wherein the data access layer (206) is adapted for hosting database components pertaining to said business agreement.
28. The system (200) as claimed in claim 27, wherein the business logic layer (204) further comprises of:
a. a validation acquisition module (302) adapted for driving a plurality of instances pertaining to said business agreement against a potential customer of said business agreement through a validation acquired from a plurality of stakeholders of said business agreement;
b. a customer relationship management module (304) adapted for enabling the stakeholders of said business agreement to provide information pertaining to the plurality of instances of said business agreement;
c. an information communication module (306) adapted for ensuring information availability in real time with the stakeholders of said business agreement by a plurality of communication means; and
d. a resource procurement triggering module (308) adapted for triggering resource procurement request for said business agreement based on plurality of instances of said business agreement to the respective stakeholders of said business agreement.
29. The system (200) as claimed in claim 28, the resource procurement triggering module (308) further comprises of:
a. a resource transitioning module (402) adapted for sharing information pertaining to the said business agreement for start transitioning of resources required for said business agreement;
b. a human resource procurement module (404) adapted for enabling project execution team to raise human resource requirement for new or the existing business agreement; and
c. a human resource requirement posting module (406) adapted for sharing information pertaining to human resource requirement for said business agreement including role, target number, grade, location, and skill set required, for human resource requirement postings, conducting due diligence of human resources and fulfilling human resource requirement for said business agreement internally or externally based on an automatic resource mapping based on a plurality of predefined parameters.
30. The system (200) as claimed in claim 27, wherein the resource for said business agreement is selected from a group comprising of infrastructure, and human resource.

The system (200) as claimed in claim 27, further comprises of a reporting module (212) adapted for enabling the plurality of stakeholders of said business agreement to analyze the effect of said business agreement by visualizing a plurality of periodic reports pertaining to said business agreement, wherein the plurality of periodic reports are corresponding to and generated at the plurality of stages of said business agreement.
35. The system (200) as claimed in claim 27, wherein the plurality of communication means are selected from a group comprising of electronic mail, and short messaging service accessible through a user interface by utilizing a mobile communication device.
36. The system (200) as claimed in claim 27, further comprises of a historical data repository (214) adapted for storing historical information pertaining to said business agreement.
37. The system (200) as claimed in claim 27, further comprises of an analysis module (216) adapted for analyzing information pertaining to competitors in context of said business agreement, measuring and plotting quadrant of current market scenario for said business agreement.
