Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method and a unit for determining value of goods in real time. The method comprises identifying goods by measuring at least one feature of the goods, analyzing quality of the goods, classifying, by the determination unit the goods into grades based on the quality analysis and determining a value of the goods based on the grades and a predefined value associated with the goods. Claims:We claim:
1. A method for determining value of goods in real time, comprising:
identifying, by a determination unit, goods by measuring at least one feature of the goods;
analyzing, by the determination unit, quality of the goods;
classifying, by the determination unit, the goods into grades based on the quality analysis; and
determining, by the determination unit, a value of the goods based on the grades and a predefined value associated with the goods.
2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the goods are perishable goods.
3. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein identifying the goods comprises comparing the measured features of the goods with predefined reference features associated with the goods.
4. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the goods are identified by at least one of a hyper spectral camera, spectral camera, bar code reader, Infra-Red (IR) sensor, Red Green Blue (RGB) camera and depth sensor.
5. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the goods are classified by comparing the quality with predefined reference quality stored in a database accessible by the determination unit.
6. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the quality of the goods is analyzed by at least one of a hyper spectral camera, spectral camera, bar code reader, Infra-Red (IR) sensor and depth sensor.
7. The method as claimed in claim 6, wherein the hyper spectral camera images the goods, wherein the images indicate unique spectral density of the goods based on which the goods are identified.
8. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the value is displayed on a display unit associated with the determination unit.
9. A determination unit for determining value of goods in real time, comprising:
first set of sensors associated with the determination unit to identify goods by measuring at least one feature of the goods;
second set of sensors associated with the determination unit to analyze quality of the goods;
a processor; and
a memory, communicatively connected with the processor, comprising processor executable, which, on execution causes the processor to:
classify the goods into grades based on the quality analysis; and
determine a value of the goods in real time based on the grades and predefined value associated with the goods.
10. The determination unit as claimed in claim 9, wherein the goods are perishable goods.
11. The determination unit as claimed in claim 9, wherein the processor is configured to compare the measured features with predefined reference features to identify the goods.
12. The determination unit as claimed in claim 9, wherein the first set of sensors is at least one of a hyper spectral camera, spectral camera, bar code reader, Infra-Red (IR) sensor, Red Green Blue (RGB) camera and depth sensor.
13. The determination unit as claimed in claim 9, wherein the processor is configured to compare the quality with predefined reference quality stored in a database accessible by the determination unit, to determine quality of the goods.
14. The determination unit as claimed in claim 9, wherein the quality of goods is analyzed by at least one of a hyper spectral camera, spectral camera, bar code reader, Infra-Red (IR) sensor and depth sensor.
15. The determination unit as claimed in claim 14, wherein the hyper spectral camera images the goods, wherein the images indicate unique spectral density based on which the quality of the goods is analyzed.
16. The determination unit as claimed in claim 9, wherein a display unit displays the real time value to a user.
17. A system for determining value of goods in real time, comprising:
first set of sensors to identify goods by measuring at least one feature of the goods;
second set of sensors to analyze quality of the goods; and
a determination unit to:
classify the goods into grades based on the quality analysis; and
determine a value of the goods in real time based on the grades and predefined value associated with the goods.
18. The system as claimed in claim 17, wherein the goods are perishable goods.
19. The system as claimed in claim 17, wherein the processor is configured to compare the measured features with predefined reference features to identify the goods.
20. The system as claimed in claim 17, wherein the first set of sensors is at least one of a hyper spectral camera, spectral camera, bar code reader, Infra-Red (IR) sensor, Red Green Blue (RGB) camera and depth sensor.
21. The system as claimed in claim 17, wherein the processor is configured to compare the quality with predefined reference quality stored in a database accessible by the determination unit, to determine quality of the goods.
22. The system as claimed in claim 17, wherein the quality of goods is analyzed by at least one of a hyper spectral camera, spectral camera, bar code reader, Infra-Red (IR) sensor and depth sensor.
23. The system as claimed in claim 22, wherein the hyper spectral camera images the goods, wherein the images indicate unique spectral density based on which the quality of the goods is analyzed.
24. The system as claimed in claim 17, further comprises a display unit to display the real time value to a user.
