Abstract: The general field of the invention relates to the binocular helmet-mounted display devices worn by aircraft pilots. In night use, one of the drawbacks of this type of device is that the uprights of the cockpit introduce significant visual masks into the field of the optical sensors. The method according to the invention is a method for eliminating these masks in the images presented to the pilot by graphics processing of the binocular images.
