Nano Silica Potassium Phosphate Liquid Complex Fertilizer

Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: NANO SILICA POTASSIUM PHOSPHATE LIQUID COMPLEX FERTILIZER A nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer comprising 0.01 to 50 wt% of potassium salt, 0.01 to 50 wt% of silicon dioxide and 5 to 50 wt% of phosphate is applied as foliar spray on the plants. This delays phosphate and potassium hydrolyzation, improve P+ and K+ ion quantity in an absorption state in plants, inhibits P+ oxidation, reduces NH3 volatilization and PO4 and CH4 discharge, and increase the phosphate and potassium hydrolyzation, and thereby favouring increase in crop yield. The trials have revealed that the liquid complex fertilizer in nanoscale, approximately 1.5 litre of fertilizer as a foliar spray is enough for 1 hectare. Stomata absorb the fertilizer easily due to its small size, and it penetrates more effectively in the plant biological metabolism.

DESC:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is related to nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer. More specifically, the present invention provides a blend of silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer formulated to the nano scale for synergistically advanced absorption of fertilizer content to the plant. Advantageously the said fertilizer is cost effective, eco friendly and more effective than the existing granular fertilizer, highly user friendly and readily adopted as a high efficacy nano complex fertilizer.

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
In the current agriculture field, a conventional fertilizer has been used for decade. With the recent advancement in the technology nano came into picture and played a vital role in the agriculture domain with nano complex fertilizer emerging technology.
In the market so far, there is no nano complex fertilizer. There exists only nano Phosphate which includes only Phosphate component. So there is a need for a nano complex liquid fertilizer which has higher efficacy than that of the existing fertilizers.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION:
The primary object of the present invention is to develop an advanced and high efficacy liquid complex fertilizer in nanoscale.

Another object of the present invention is to develop a nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer which is applicable as foliar spray and is effective at a very low concentration.

Another object of the present invention is to develop a nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer which would be easily absorbed by the stomata of leaves thereby reducing wastage.

Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer that would penetrate effectively in the plant biological metabolism than the granular fertilizers.

Still another object of the present invention is to provide a nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer which would be cost effective and be light weight due to high efficacy in low amounts and thus reduce transport cost in comparison to the granular fertilizer.

Yet another object of the present invention to provide a nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer which would be adapted to be in direct contact with the plants instead of soil that increases soil microbes increasing soil fertility.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

Thus the basic aspect of the present invention is to provide a nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer comprising 0.01 to 50 wt% of potassium salt, 0.01 to 50 wt% of silicon dioxide and 5 to 50 wt% of phosphate.

Another aspect of the presemt invention is to provide the nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer wherein the potassium salts and phosphates are selected from potassium hydroxide and potassium phosphate .

Yet another aspect of the present invention is to provide a process for manufacture of said liquid complex fertilizer comprising the steps of :
a) adding 0.01 to 50 wt% silicon dioxide with 0.01 to 50 wt% potassium salt liquor in a reactor forming a potassium silica base;
b) adding aq. solution of phosphate in the range of 5 to 50 wt% on to silica potassium base of step (a) under a temperature of 25-80 degree centigrade at 1000 rpm with stirring for 5 hours continuously to formulate the nano silica potassium phosphate liquid;
wherein the potassium salts and phosphates are selected from potassium hydroxide and potassium phosphate .
The nature of the invention is described in greater detail in relation to non-limiting brief description of accompanying figures.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF FIGURES
Figure 1 illustrates schematically the process steps for the production nano silica potassium phosphate liquid fertilizer.

DETAILED NON-LIMITING DESCRIPTION OF THE NATURE OF THE INVENTION
As discussed hereinbefore the present invention relates to a nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer and the method of its preparation. Said liquid complex fertilizer is more effective than the granular fertilizers. The unique features of the present invention are to provide the fertilizer in nano scale replacing the grain size.
In accordance with an aspect of the present advancement, the said nano silica potassium phosphate liquid comprises the following components (wt%):
0.01 to 50 wt% of potassium salts, 0.01 to 50 wt% of silicon dioxide and 5 to 50 wt% of phosphate or also comprises micro non- phosphate plant nutrients or micro phosphate containing compounds.
Select constituents/ingredients in above select wt % ranges are critical for the nano complex liquid fertilizer activity. Any change in the constituents wt % will not achieve the said nano complex liquid fertilizer with the desired effects.

EXAMPLE 1: Process of manufacturing the nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex
The preparation method of the said nano silica potassium phosphate liquid comprises simple two steps of manufacture as illustrated in Fig. 1.
Potassium hydroxide and Potassium phosphate are the source of potassium and phosphate salts: obtained from the Narmada Chemical Industries, Hyderabad
a) Initially 0.01 to 50 wt% silicon dioxide is added with 0.01 to 50 wt% potassium salt liquor in a reactor.
b) Aqueous solution of phosphate is prepared in a separate reactor by dissolving 5 to 50 wt% of potassium phosphate in water.
c) The obtained phosphate solution is subjected to binding on to silica potassium surface under a temperature of 25-80 degree centigrade at 1000 rpm with stirring for 5hours continuously to formulate the nano silica potassium phosphate liquid (Fig 2 and 3).
The above stated select parameters are critical for forming the desired nano complex liquid fertilizer and any deviation from the select parameters will not achieve the said composition.

EXAMPLE 2: Effect of nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer
The said nano silica potassium phosphate liquid is applied as foliar spray on the plants. This delays phosphate and potassium hydrolyzation, improve P+ and K+ ion quantity in an absorption state in plants, inhibits P+ oxidation , reduces NH3 volatilization and PO4 and CH4 discharge, and increase the phosphate and potassium hydrolyzation and improves P+ and K+ quantity in an absorption state in plants, inhibit P+ oxidation , reduces NH3 volatilization and PO4 and CH4 discharge and increases the phosphate and potassium adsorbing quantity of crops and thereby favouring increase in crop yield.
The trials have revealed the following significantly special advantages of the liquid complex fertilizer in nanoscale which are:
The liquid complex fertilizer in nanoscale, approximately 1.5 litre of fertilizer as a foliar spray is enough for 1 hectare. Stomata absorb the fertilizer easily due to its small size, and it penetrates more effectively in the plant biological metabolism.

The said fertilizer is readily accepted by the plant through Stomata (liquid), so no wastage of the fertilizer in-crop applications. Said nano complex fertilizers are in direct contact with the plants instead of soil thereby increasing soil microbes for increased soil fertility. Thus, plant benefits in two ways, one is foliar application and soil fertility. There would be a high yield with the introduction of complex nano fertilizers.

109 NCTPL, 500 ml of nano-size complex fertilizer is equal to 50 kg bag of conventional granular fertilizer, which further reduces the fertilizer transportation cost for farmers by 100times. Farmers can save their investment cost and quantity of the fertilizer used and shipping charges.
The present invention is beneficial for large scale farming , It is cost effective and environment friendly. The said fertilizer can be brought to the market with nominal investment.

,CLAIMS:WE CLAIM :

1. A nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer comprising 0.01 to 50 wt% of potassium salt, 0.01 to 50 wt% of silicon dioxide and 5 to 50 wt% of phosphate.

2. The nano silica potassium phosphate liquid complex fertilizer as claimed in claim 1 wherein the potassium salts and phosphates are selected from potassium hydroxide and potassium phosphate .

3. A process for manufacture of said liquid complex fertilizer comprising the steps of:
c) adding 0.01 to 50 wt% silicon dioxide with 0.01 to 50 wt% potassium salt liquor in a reactor forming a potassium silica base;
d) adding aq. solution of phosphate in the range of 5 to 50 wt% on to silica potassium base of step (a) under a temperature of 25-80 degree centigrade at 1000 rpm with stirring for 5 hours continuously to formulate the nano silica potassium phosphate liquid;
wherein the potassium salts and phosphates are selected from potassium hydroxide and potassium phosphate .
