Non Conventional Method For Tactical Communication Field Device

Abstract: A tactical communication field device (TCFD) for transmitting and receiving commands in a tactical network (TN) is provided. The TCFD includes: one or more input units to collect motion data and orientation data corresponding to a command to be transmitted to one or more other TCFD’s in the TN; a controller unit for processing and encrypting the collected motion data and orientation data; a communication unit to transmit the encoded and encrypted unique data packet across the TN in a predefined radio frequency spectrum and receive a command from other TCFD’s in the TN; and output units to deliver the received command in one of a non-verbal output using one or more somatosensory transducers and a verbal output using auditory transducer, based on a mode selected using an auxiliary input module.
