Operation Device And Washing Machine Provided With Same
Abstract: This operation device (70) is provided with: an operation panel (8) provided to the upper outer contour (3) of a casing; an operation board (9) that inputs operations; a power source board (11); and a protective case (13) that protects the power source board (11) and the operation board (9) and has at least two concavities (13a 13b). Also the protective case (13) protects the power source board (11) at one of the concavities (13b) protects the operation board (9) at the other of the concavities (13a) and has a configuration provided with an incombustible material (41) between the power source board (11) and the bottom (13e) of one of the cavities (13b) of the protective case (13). As a result it is possible to realize a compact highly reliable operation device (70) able to prevent erroneous operation and erroneous display.

WE CLAIM:
1. An operation device (70) comprising:
an operating panel (8) provided in an upper outer casing (3) of a housing; an operating substrate (9) to which an operation is inputted; a power source substrate (11); and
a protection case (13) for protecting the power source substrate (11) and the operating substrate (9),
characterized in that
the protection case (13) has one recess (13a) and an other recess (13b) and has a substantially H-shape in a cross section of the protection case (13), the operating substrate (9) is included in the one recess (13a), and the power source substrate (11) is included in the other (13b),
wherein the protection case (13) protects the power source substrate (11) in the one recess (13a), and protects the operating substrate (9) in the other recess (13b), and
wherein an incombustible material (41) is provided between a bottom (13e) of the one of the recesses (13b) of the protection case (13) and the power source substrate (11).
2. The operation device (70) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the incombustible material (41) is a mica material.
3. The operation device (70) as claimed in claim 2,
wherein the mica material is coated with a potting agent (24) together with the power source substrate (11).
4. A washing machine comprising the operation device (70) as claimed in any
one of claims 1 to 3.
