Abstract: DIV ALPROEX PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS The present invention relates to modified release pharmaceutical compositions of valproic acid compound coated particles, processes for preparation of the compositions and method of use, treatment and administration. Further the present invention relates to modified release pharmaceutical compositions of valproic acid compound along with at least .one modified release polymer, with or without other pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, wherein the modified release polymer is hydrophilic polymer/s whose concentration is atleast more than about 50% by weight of the total composition.
