Abstract: 1 Pilfer proof nozzle for eye drop/nose drop/ear drop bottles comprising: nozzle part having collar at its bottom portion, the said collar fits on the mouth of the bottle the upper part has nozzle portion having threads at its base for screwing a cap on the nozzle portion a cover which fits on the said nozzle part has a cap at its bottom which fits on the collar of the said nozzle part which snugly fits on the collar of the said nozzle part and a hollow cylinder with closed top of predetermined length on the top of the said cap. and a seal break means between the said cap and the hollow cylinder the arrangement between the hollow cylinder and the cap is such that the seal break means break when the hollow cylinder is rotated on either side and thereby make the bottle pilfer proof
This invention relates to pilfer proof nozzle for eye drop/nose drop/ear drop bottles..
BACKGROUND
Eyes, noses or ear of the human beings are very sensitive parts. If any wrong
medicine is administered through these parts it may even kill a person. It is
therefore necessary to prevent tilling of spurious drugs for eyes, nose and ear drop
through nozzles The object of this invention is to make these eyes drops, nose
drops, ear drops bottles pilfer proof.
To achieve the said objective, this invention provides pilfer proof nozzle for eye
drop/nose drop/ear drop bottles which comprises
- nozzle part having collar at its bottom portion, the said collar fits on the mouth of the bottle and the upper part has nozzle portion having threads at its base for screwing a cap on the nozzle portion.
- a cover which fits on the said nozzle part has a cap at its bottom which fits on the collar of the said nozzle part which snugly fits on the collar of the
,said nozzle part and a hollow cylinder with closed top of predetermined length
on the top of the said cap. and
-a sea! break means between the said cap and the hollow cylinder, the
arrangement between the hollow cylinder and the cap is such that the
sea! break means break when the hollow cylinder is rotated on either side
and thereby make the bottle pilfer proof.
The cover which fits on the nozzle part is made of polypropylene and the nozzle
part is made of low density poly ethylene or the entire leak proof nozzle is made of
poly propylene material.
The seal break means are small joints between the hollow cylinder and the cap
which break when the hollow cylinder is rotated either side
The invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying
drawings.
Fig. 1 shows the nozzle part according to this invention.
Fig. 2(a) shows the perspective view of the cap on the nozzle.
Fig. 2(b) shows the sectional view of the cap
Fig. 3 shows the cover which snugly fits on the nozzle part
Fig. 4 shows the cover snugly fitted to the nozzle part and the bottle. Referring to the drawings, item 1 shows the nozzle part having collar 2 at its bottom portion and nozzle 3 at its top portion The nozzle 3 at its base 4 has screw threads 5. The cap 5(a) having internal threads is screwed on to the threads 5A on the base 4 of the nozzle 3 to close the dropper Over the nozzle part 1. cover 6 is snugly fitted with each other to make the bottles pilfer proof The said cover 6
consists of cap 8 at its base and a hollow cylinder 9 at the top is provided. Seal break means 7 is provided between the hollow cylinder 9 and a cap 8. WORKING
The hollow cylinder 9 is rotated either side and the seal break means break and the hollow cylinder 9 is separated from the cap 8. The cap 5(a) is unscrewed and the nozzle 3 is ready for use. After the use, the nozzle can be screwed with the cap 5(a) to prevent any germs or dust to enter.
We claim:
1 Pilfer proof nozzle for eye drop/nose drop/ear drop bottles comprising
nozzle part having collar at its bottom portion, the said collar tits on the
mouth of the bottle the upper part has nozzle portion having threads
at its base for screwing a cap on the nozzle portion

on the collar of the said nozzle part which snugly fits on the collar of the
said nozzle part and a hollow cylinder with closed top of predetermined
length on the top of the said cap. and
a seal break means between the said cap and the hollow cylinder
the arrangement between the hollow cylinder and the cap is such that the
seal break means break when the hollow cylinder is rotated on either side
and thereby make the bottle pilfer proof
2 Pilfer proof nozzle as claimed in claim 1 wherein the cover which fits on the nozzle part is made of polypropylene
3 Pilfer proof nozzle as claimed in claim 1 wherein the nozzle part is made of low density polyethylene or the entire leak proof nozzle is made of polypropylene
material
4. Pilfer proof nozzle as claimed in claim 1 wherein seal break means are small joints which are circularly provided between the hollow cylinder and the cap which break when the hollow cylinder is rotated either side
5. Pilfer proof nozzle for eye drop/nose drop/ear drop bottles substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
