Power Producing Gym

Abstract: It is an system from totally wasteful energy which is expended in workout. The energy generator is integrated within workout machines for converting the kinetic energy or mechanical energy to electricity. Battery or electricity storage device is provided to store electricity. As the exercise equipment is being used the kinetic or mechanical energy given off is converted to electrical energy by way of the generator, which transfers the electricity to the battery wherein it is stored or transferred for direct use.

Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION
In present time people are becoming more and more health conscious and gym culture is on rise. The whole point of working out is to expend some energy, but what if instead, you could create it? we can captures the energy from your workout and turns it into electricity and that will be 100% green energy.
After considering a number of designs and discarding a few we came up with the design concepts. After a close deliberation of the proposed design we made a comparison with the existing design. Following attributes were compared in convention design and proposed design.
1. Ease & accessibility of items
2. Cost & ease of operation
3. Ease of refitting in present models of gym equipment
Each of these attributes is graded according to the data from the market survey, their need & importance in the product design. Accordingly, the adopted concept was marked out with better remarks.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Comparison of different gvm equipment
After considering many type of gym equipment decided on pull up pull down power machine, as it is an excellent source of energy, 95 percentage of the exertion put into pull up pull down power converted into energy. In this apparatus, the user has to pull up pull down the gym equipment's for generating power and store in battery. Then this battery can be used for powering ac and dc devices, car batteries etc.

SUMMERY Power Producing Gym
Gym exercise produce Human power, it can be another renewable source of energy. The intention of this project is to design a system based on renewable energy source. We use a generator with 24V motor which is powered by a gym push and pull. A motor is connected to a flywheel in such way that up and down motion is used to store energy in flywheel which in turn give constant power to generator motor. The resulting direct current is converted into different usable DC voltages levels. By converting this DC voltage into AC levels. It will useful to light bulbs, laptop and mobile charging, musical system and other appliances. This will reduce the energy demand in today's life.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRFERED EMBODIMENT In Fig 01
100-1. Shaft: used to support gears
100-2, 100-3, 100-4. Gears: Gears are used to control the speed and torque.
100-5, 100-6 Rack and pinion: this arrangement is used to transmit transitional motion of gym machine to rotational motion.
100-7. Pulley: It transmits the torque from Gear 2 to electrical system via Chain.
100-9. Chain drive: for transmitting torque to ratchet pulley (8).
100-8. Ratchet Pulley: this system only transmit shaft in one direction, when a person pull the weight this system is active and transmit the torque to flywheel,

When load is lowered the system detaches itself from the pulley and no torque is transmitted to the generator shaft.
100-10. Alternator: this converts the mechanical motion into the electricity.
100-11. Dead weights: this weight is used to restore the position of the rope when person release the exercise pull.
100-12. Frame: frame of exercise machine.
100-13. Rope: exercise rope.
100-14. Free pulley: this pulley is to guide the rope and keep it in its position.
100-15. Flywheel: this is used to store the mechanical energy as well as provide smooth torque to the alternator.
In fig 02: Block diagram
200-1. Prime Mover- prime mover used to converts energy to useful work
200-2. DC Motor- to Generate DC.
200-3. Battery- It is used to store electricity for further use.
200-4. Inverter- An inverter converts the DC electricity from sources such as batteries or fuel cells to AC electricity.
200-5. Step Up Transformer- An Step up transformer convert low voltage into high voltage.
200-6. Load- A load is an application point like led-bulb.

What is claimed as:
1. An energy generator system for converting energy from a gym machine, which can be used directly or can be stored as well as can be converted into A.C.
2. We claim that this proposed design as recited by claim 1, can be fitted in each gym machine separately or can be interlinked to a common shaft to give higher power.
3. We claim that this proposed design of Power Producing Gym can be fitted in any conventional gym machine with little modifications.
4. We claim that this proposed design of Power Producing Gym is easy to maintain and cheaper than the other power producing gym machines which mostly works only on exercise cycle.
5. We claim that this proposed design in claim 1 can be separately packed as kit, which user can fit in his machine by himself.
