Claims

1. A method of a source base station, the method comprising: communicating with a radio terminal; sending a HANDOVER REQUEST message to a target base station via an interface when the radio terminal is handed over from the source base station to the target base station, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST message includes first information indicating one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs) that have been configured for the radio terminal; and receiving a HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message from the target base station after sending the HANDOVER REQUEST message, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message includes second information indicating one or more BWPs to be configured for the radio terminal.

2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the second information is generated by the target base station.

3. The method according to claim 2, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST message further includes third information indicating a BWP that has been activated for the radio terminal.

4. A source base station comprising: an interface configured to be connected to a target base station; and a processor configured to: send a HANDOVER REQUEST message to the target base station via the interface when the radio terminal is handed over from the source base station to the target base station, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST message includes first information indicating one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs) that have been configured for the radio terminal; and receive a HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message from the target base station after sending the HANDOVER REQUEST message, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message includes second information indicating one or more BWPs to be configured for the radio terminal.

5. The source base station according to claim 4, wherein the second information is 53 generated by the target base station.

6. The source base station according to claim 5, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST message further includes third information indicating a BWP that has been activated for the radio terminal.

7. A method of a target base station, the method comprising: receiving a HANDOVER REQUEST message from a source base station via an interface when a radio terminal is handed over from the source base station to the target base station, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST message includes first information indicating one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs) that have been configured for the radio terminal; and sending a HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message to the source base station after receiving the HANDOVER REQUEST message, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message includes second information indicating one or more BWPs to be configured for the radio terminal.

8. The method according to claim 7, wherein the second information is generated by the target base station.

9. The method according to claim 8, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST message further includes third information indicating a BWP that has been activated for the radio terminal.

10. A target base station comprising: an interface configured to be connected to a source base station; and a processor configured to: receive a HANDOVER REQUEST message from the source base station via the interface when a radio terminal is handed over from the source base station to the target base station, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST message includes first information indicating one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs) that have been configured for the radio terminal; and send a HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message to the source base station after receiving the HANDOVER REQUEST message, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message includes second information indicating one or more BWPs to be configured for the radio terminal. 54

11. The target base station according to claim 10, wherein the second information is generated by the target base station.

12. The target base station according to claim 11, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST message further includes third information indicating a BWP that has been activated for the radio terminal.

Specification

We Claim:
1. A method of a source base station, the method comprising:
communicating with a radio terminal;
sending a HANDOVER REQUEST message to a target base station via an
interface when the radio terminal is handed over from the source base station to the target
base station, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST message includes first information
indicating one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs) that have been configured for the radio
terminal; and
receiving a HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message from the target
base station after sending the HANDOVER REQUEST message, wherein the HANDOVER
REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message includes second information indicating one or
more BWPs to be configured for the radio terminal.
2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the second information is generated
by the target base station.
3. The method according to claim 2, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST
message further includes third information indicating a BWP that has been activated for
the radio terminal.
4. A source base station comprising:
an interface configured to be connected to a target base station; and
a processor configured to:
send a HANDOVER REQUEST message to the target base station via the
interface when the radio terminal is handed over from the source base station to the target
base station, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST message includes first information
indicating one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs) that have been configured for the radio
terminal; and
receive a HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message from the
target base station after sending the HANDOVER REQUEST message, wherein the
HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message includes second information
indicating one or more BWPs to be configured for the radio terminal.
5. The source base station according to claim 4, wherein the second information is

generated by the target base station.
6. The source base station according to claim 5, wherein the HANDOVER
REQUEST message further includes third information indicating a BWP that has been
activated for the radio terminal.
7. A method of a target base station, the method comprising:
receiving a HANDOVER REQUEST message from a source base station via an
interface when a radio terminal is handed over from the source base station to the target
base station, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST message includes first information
indicating one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs) that have been configured for the radio
terminal; and
sending a HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message to the source base
station after receiving the HANDOVER REQUEST message, wherein the HANDOVER
REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message includes second information indicating one or
more BWPs to be configured for the radio terminal.
8. The method according to claim 7, wherein the second information is generated
by the target base station.
9. The method according to claim 8, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST
message further includes third information indicating a BWP that has been activated for
the radio terminal.
10. A target base station comprising:
an interface configured to be connected to a source base station; and
a processor configured to:
receive a HANDOVER REQUEST message from the source base station
via the interface when a radio terminal is handed over from the source base station to the
target base station, wherein the HANDOVER REQUEST message includes first
information indicating one or more bandwidth parts (BWPs) that have been configured for
the radio terminal; and
send a HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message to the source
base station after receiving the HANDOVER REQUEST message, wherein the
HANDOVER REQUEST ACKNOWLEDGE message includes second information
indicating one or more BWPs to be configured for the radio terminal.

is generated by the target base station.
12. The target base station according to claim 11, wherein the HANDOVER
REQUEST message further includes third information indicating a BWP that has been
activated for the radio terminal.
